This was my first time eating here and without a doubt I’ll be back. I had the jerk chicken, my husband tried the brown stew and it was hands down to die for. I was a little skeptical but I am so glad I gave this restaurant a try. Sarah was very polite and made the experience even more memorable she was very friendly warm and extremely welcoming. It’s a 10/10 definitely will be coming back soon with my entire family. Thank you Sarah! Found my new lunch spot while I’m in town.

Love buying food from this spot when I lived in Hempstead. Now I’m in West Islip I still drive all the way to this location for my favorite jerk chicken with vegetables & rice/peas. They also have yummy stew oxtails & crispy fried chicken. Will keep coming back!

I live in the community and go to this restaurant for convenience because I know good Jamaican food as a Jamaican native & this place isn’t it. Everyone is so rude at this establishment. Every time my husband orders jerk chicken rice & peas they pile up the rice more than the chicken. The jerk chicken is so dry make sure you have water to wash it down. Please do better taxes are really high in the area and the community deserves good Jamaican cuisine.

My husband paid 4 a large & when I went 2 eat the food I noticed it was a medium I called 2 let them no a lady answered the phone November 8,9:25 pm & said it's nothing she can do b cause I started eating I said he got a ride & he came far she started laughing on the phone & said well the manager is not here the moral 2 the story is she could've said well next time u come we can make u pay a little less on the next meal I eat from here every Friday & 4 her 2 b laughing first of all ur main customers are American u foreigners come here & think u can talk 2 people any kind of way I'm disappointed & disgusting b cause this is the second time something happened when they gave my husband the wrong plate & he had 2 get someone 2 give him a ride 2 drive all the way back 2 get the right plate the lady that answered the phone was rude & laughing like it was a joke she's rude & despicable & should b fired!

This place is absolutely delicious. Idk why some people have this spot a one star. It deserves more than that. The young lady behind is counter is really sweet and nice. I highly recommend this spot. Food taste delicious but they can be stingy with the oxtails! I received more bones than meat. I was upset when I got home because I paid $23. They can be very expensive! They give you more rice and veggies than meat. At the Dominicans restaurant they give you what you deserve for the price.
