10/10 I recommend, from I stepped into the restaurant I was greeted with such a pleasant cashier the female with the neat dread locs. At first it appeared that I had to wait a little over 5mins for the food but it was worth it. Thanks to the staff and the chef for making those delicious jerk chicken and jerk pork. I love the oxtail and jerk chicken too. Big up to tropical Jerk staff and the natural juice called cucumber punch. I will be back.

The food is tasty, the atmosphere feels clean and inviting. I really love how the cashier deals with me whenever I place an order she is very polite and smiles and tells me what’s on the menu even when the menu is there. I love to order the oxtails, jerky chicken with cabbage and the fried chicken. 10/10 I would recommend simply by how my order was handle from the cashier to the cook. The best Jamaican restaurant in NY. Hands down.

The food here is so delicious and definitely worth every dollar spent. Everything went smoothly from the moment I placed my order to receiving my meal. I really appreciated the great customer service I received from the cashier , I believe her name is Sarah. She knew a lot about the menu and made sure I was well informed about my meal choice and made the experience there so pleasant. I would definitely stop by this location again when visiting the area !

I've been going to this location for over 2 years b cause the food is usually served hot and taste good,but the customer service I realized overtime just got worse. I paid with my debit card and am always instructed to press ok twice. This time the machine refused to accept my input. The young woman after leaving me unattended came back and outrightly accused me of not pressing ok twice even though my wife told her I did several times. I tried to appeal to her to give her customers the benefit of the doubt as I'm not lying I just need to pay and go. Instead she started to fuss with me how I pulled away my receipt from her hand because at this moment I'd asked for a refund. This is so disgraceful the way she acted and I told her I've witness her poor customer services last year when a customer was not happy with her at all. This young woman just does not put customers first and does not take your word will lie on you for what i don't know. Avoid this location at all cost and go to Uniondale instead as I e had no problem with them for over 15 years.
I've ordered food here on several occasions and it's always delicious and the servings are huge. Staff friendly for the most part, sometimes can be a bit abrupt but not necessarily disrespectful. The environment is clean but could do with a little more space. Parking is on the street, which can be a challenge depending on the time of day. Overall a good restaurant, which I'll patronize again.
If I could give the place zero stars I would. The cashier was extremely rude. There is a menu displayed which stated Entrees come with rice and peas/white rice, veg, salad and plantains. I ordered a medium entree, stew chicken with rice and peas. The cashier asked me if I wanted a vegetable, and I responded yes. I also said, I wanted everything I saw that’s supposed to come with the entree, which is displayed. The cashier said, we don’t have plantains and that sign is old. I said okay. She gave me my total, I went to insert my debit card into the card machine, and the cashier said, just hit okay 2x and hit enter. I said I just always read the machine for myself. She then said, with an attitude, there is nothing to read, just hit okay, okay and enter. Also, the tip questions at the beginning of the transaction does not work. It doesn’t matter if the tip questions work, I have the right to read any questions before I authorize my transaction. This cashier was extremely rude and disrespectful. So, I didn’t purchase anything. I left. This is unfortunate, this place was recommended to me, and I did want to try it. I’m not giving my money to an establishment who feels they can treat/talk to customers in a rude manner. You will not get my business and I will not refer you. This was New Years Eve! Rude

I visit here at least 1X/Weekly, and in the past 4 Weeks, they don't have Jamaican Patties, you can't specify Dark Meat, they don't have hot sauce, they don't have veggies. Now this occurs at various times of the day, at Lunch, Dinner, at 3 PM. No rhyme, nor reason. They are open all day and close at 10 PM. They clearly don't know how to manage food distribution and demand, this much is clear.So my experience today, I ordered 2 LG Jerk Chickens with Peas & Rice, Veggies, Oxtail Sauce & Hot Sauce on the side + 2 Beef Patties. I was told that there were no Veggies & no Hot Sauce. I asked the young girl with braces (I call her the Jerk Na-zzi), who is always behind the counter, that since they don't have Veggies or Hot Sauce, whether I can have some extra Oxtail Sauce on the side as a substitution for the missing things I am paying for. She told me that they are not allowed to do that. I was very firm but pleasant, & explained to her that I am paying the same prices and getting less, that it's not good Customer Service to conduct business in this way. Btw, if you want extra anything you have to pay for it, however they won't give you a discount or substitution if they're jipping you. Weird & Bizarro! That missing veggie + hot sauce are critical elements that makes me enjoy that dish, and makes it superior.I am no cheapskate, you can judge from my reviews & some of the places I have visited, however I am a stickler for Customer Service & I usually tip $10/20, cash everytime I go here. No tip for the Jerk Na-zzi today, and probably not in the future, until Management figures out what kinda business they want to run. Caribbean Cove closed down (see my review) and they had similar issues that I noted in my review of them. There are also several other places in town & close by, that also serve Jerk/Caribbean Foods. If these folks don't get their act together, they will face an Unhappy Ending. Happy Endings only occur in Pattaya & you have to pay for ittt!!! Great food, however there's a Bitter Aftertaste!

I spent 36.00 for 2 medium dinners I called over the phone and the young lady never put my order in correctly I drove a good 25 minutes to get there and then another to get home I noticed there making a lot of mistakes I’m looking for some were else to buy dinner for my family no sweet sauce no gravy and she ask me what I wanted to order but was talking to some one else the whole time I won’t be getting any food there I’m going to go back to Uniondale for my food at least the service is better there is a on going problem but the food is good that’s just a lot of money to spend for bad service not every one cares about your food? the food it’s dry though and through on a Sunday this is so wrong
