I never leave reviews and have worked in the service industry many years and understand things happen and it can be busy… but an hour and a half for 2 sandwiches and sides while 5 other groups after us came in and ate and we’re finished is absurd. We got our food to go at that point which still took another 15 minutes. We wanted to just walk out but since the entire trip was 2 hours with a 30 minute drive I wanted to get the food to reheat at home, which was also barely warm once received. Zero comps not even for the 2 drinks we ordered and were told they mixed up some tickets which is the lamest excuse knowing how kitchens work. That doesn’t take an hour and a half. Still tipped though even when I finally get back home I’ll have to heat it all back up and kind of want to just throw it out after wasting two hours of my life.
I can't rate the food because they were all out by the time they had a table for us. We were told a 30-40 minute for a table, so we were at the bar and hour later when I recieved a text message from the restaurant saying that they were out of brisket, pulled pork, ribs, and a bunch of sides / apps. It also said that they were very low on pulled chicken. So we waited double the time given only to find out that they were out of food. What a huge waste of time. I will never go back.

We visited today with our hockey team while in the area. We didn't plan ahead and surprised them with a party of 20. They gave us a back room, which was perfect. I didn't catch our server's name but she was awesome and handled all of us. Our food, which was delicious, was a bit of a wait and didn't all come out at the same time, which we weren't surprised about with our large, unexpected group. The chef came out twice to check on us and apologize (which was unnecessary as we completely understood). He graciously complimented our team's behavior (not easy for a bunch of 9/10 year olds) and chatted with us about hockey. Everything was delicious (I had brisket and Brussels sprouts) and when we told our server we needed to get going to our next game, she quickly brought us all separate checks. To sum it up: great food, very organized and very welcoming to a large group who just randomly showed up! Would definitely go back!
Brussels sprouts were under cooked. Waited a long time for our table to get any silverware but it seemed there was only one waitress holding down the whole place so can’t be mad at her about it. My family said the Mac and cheese was very blah but we all loved our meats.

Love the outdoor bar. Food & service are good. Only criticism is who ever heard of garlic in corn bread! That was terrible. See you again soon!

We sat on the patio, servicewas fast and friendly. And puppers are welcome. They even bring a water bowl for them. Food is amazing too. Highly recommend
I finally had the opportunity to try out this new restaurant in Baldwibsville.
I will first say, I'm originally from Baldwinsville but moved to Missouri about 4 years ago, my heart is still in Baldwinsville and I want all businesses to be successful. That said, here is my fair and honest review....
The staff was great! Very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was nice but not all that different from when I remember the Lock 24.
Now, having lived in Missouri for the past 4 years, I have had lots of BBQ and I have traveled to Texas several times and had lots of BBQ there as well. Our party of four tried to select different items in order to try many different things. Our appetizer was a sausage cheese dip and it was tasty and different.
My drink was a black cherry ice tea with some sort of alcohol that was really good.
Now for the sides....
Mac and cheese, not very good. Very bland and rather flat.
Cucumber/tomato salad, yuck! Extremely vinegary and that's all I could taste.
Smoked corn, very good, creamy and seasoned well.
Corn bread, it was just ok but because it was sitting next to the Cucumber/tomato salad, it got soaked with the vinegar as it was delivered to my table so I only ate the top half.
Now for the meats....
What they called "baby back" ribs, tender but lacked flavor.
Brisket, again, tender, juicy, but lacked any kind of flavor.
Smoked turkey, this was my favorite, cooked perfectly and the perfect smokey flavor.
The sausage links, very good, enjoyed those.
Over all review, it was just ok. I will probably not go back but I didn't not like it.
As I said, I have had lots of BBQ so my expectations are probably higher than most locals who only know the Dinosaur and Limp Lizard. If I had to chose between three overall, Lizard has my vote but none of the three would ever win a cook-off in the Mid West.
