This place is awesome! Highly recommend. Unique and historic building you can get lost in including a comedy club/speakeasy in the basement! Food, drinks and service were all excellent! Can’t wait to go back :)

As the guest being described below, who had the worst restaurant experience I have ever had at a restaurant at Mohegan Manor this past Saturday-
Can you elaborate on what accommodations I declined? You were not specific? I would have loved to have experienced the mentioned accommodations. You said you fed me butter despite knowing I was vegan. What vegan and allergen free options did you provide that weren’t just raw vegetables? Can you say more about my offerings? I am so curious about what I missed out on. :)

This restaurant is not sensitive to vegans. This restaurant is not sensitive to food allergens. It is scary to me as someone who carries an EpiPen and has gone into anaphylactic shock.

Other guests who had meals on the regular menu found the sauce tasteless, the potatoes dry, and the offerings poor. Our server was extremely rude and disrespectful, a woman with blonde hair.

The carpets smell, the restaurant was dirty, and the facility was dusty. They have failed health inspections in the past. Sad to see that instead of speaking respectfully about our concerns, they chose to gaslight me and other members of the 10 people party who all witnessed what occurred.

Potentially, as an owner of a restaurant, understanding food and service may be an important component of business, even if you are not the chef.

I attended a dinner detective murder mystery dinner at this restaurant. The entertainment was great, but the dining portion was awful. We had a vegan guest in our group. The murder mystery company was told when we booked the tickets 6 months out. I had the guest call the restaurant to discuss options for her food about a month out. She spoke with Dennis, the owner, who told her the menu is the menu and wasn’t very willing to accommodate her. So I called him myself, and I asked if the vegetarian dish could be made vegan for her. He said “I don’t even know what vegans eat.” Any REAL chef should be able to accommodate vegetarians, vegans, and food allergies. Especially if they are hosting events like this. It’s not like he didn’t have notice to figure something out. I spoke with the dinner detective management and they said they’d speak with the restaurant and said she could have pasta with vegetables for her meal. Our vegan guest ended up getting a salad (plain lettuce), a bowl of chopped cucumbers and tomatoes for an appetizer, a tortilla shell with chopped vegetables in it for dinner, and a bowl of strawberries and blueberries for dessert. For $80 a ticket I would have expected them to be a little more creative than that. The regular meal was awful as well. We went as a group of ten for a bachelorette party and we all thought the food sucked. No drinks included (just water, no soda or coffee), pasta was dry and crusty, sauces were bland, and the dessert was a brownie I could’ve bought at the dollar store. The dinner detective manager was in contact and wanted a follow up of how the dinner went and I told her 100% they need to host somewhere else. Dennis is not a great chef as he is incapable of altering his preparations for guests with dietary restrictions and the wait staff was rude. When I questioned one of the waitresses if the vegan guest had more food coming or if something was vegan her response was “I don’t know, is it? The chef doesn’t know what to make her.” Just unacceptable. It’s 2026, do better.

Edit to respond to Dennis: You’re not surprised by this review because you know you dropped the ball. And your response is full of lies. She did NOT request food she knew conflicted with her dietary restrictions. We were simply asking, is this really it? You guys literally chopped up plain vegetables and gave her plain fruit. She did not eat any of the food your staff told her was not vegan or contained soybean and sunflower oil. In fact, your incompetent wait staff told her the vegetables were vegan, so based on your review they were not if they contained butter. The murder mystery staff told us Dennis was the chef—if that’s not the case, Dennis should have directed us to speak to the chef in charge so they could be prepared for these accommodations. Nice try trying to make us sound unreasonable when in reality your customer service is just abysmal :) of course we were frustrated and questioning the staff when you had plenty of time to figure out accommodations and just put zero effort in.

Five stars isn't enough! The steaks here are unbelievable—tender, flavorful, and always the highlight of my visit. Mohegan Manor has a great vibe that makes the dining experience feel special. It’s my go-to spot for a guaranteed amazing dinner.

Excellent service from the phone call for a reservation to them wrapping the leftovers to go. We made our reservation the day before so we could get the Tomahawk for Two. The website made it sound like it came with two sides, when it came with four and a Caesar salad. If you don't like Caesar salad then let the server know when you get there.

The Brussel Sprouts were the best ones we had from a restaurant. Carrots were cooked perfectly. Onion rings went well with the steak and the potatoes were the perfect consistency.

We each ordered alcoholic drinks. The Margaritas I had, had the perfect Tequila and sour mix balance. That tells you other restaurants are not making them correctly. The wife ordered a Chocolate Orange Martini. It was also made well and tasted great. The cocoa floating on top and orange wedge complimented each other well.

The Owner, Dennis was there and was very personable. We talked about our future trip to Europe and he had good pointers and places to check out while we are there.

Our server/bartender Eric was very personable as well. He takes pride in the service he provides and made sure we had the best experience possible. Great drinks Eric!

We will definitely be returning for another meal and catch a show at the comedy club.

This place is a hidden gem. Great atmosphere, awesome decor/vibe/feel. Amazing food.

I was a comedian performing in the comedy club downstairs. The staff was awes9me and it was clearly an anchor point in town on a very cold and snowy night.

You won't be disappointed here for food, entertainment, or atmosphere.

Absolutely beautiful restaurant . Dennis puts together a phenomenal experience for his guests. We were here for a private wine tasting event which was amazing . I've been here several times previously and have never been disappointed. Truly, a world-class culinary experience.
