Pretty nice little spot, especially for the area which is a bit of a desert in terms of restaurants.We had the Parmesan truffle fries, and Brussel sprouts to start the meal. Both were good but the Brussels were significantly better than the fries.Salads were good but they gave my husband the wrong size. Not a huge deal but the half wedge salad was so tiny, specially compared to my side Cesar. The size difference for the same price was confusing.Chicken Riggies were pretty good but kind of had a lot of spice that did not do much for the flavor. Spicier than standard chicken Reggie’s. I love spice but it should add more than just heat.Salmon was very good also but the seasoning on the top was a little bit salty.Service was good in the terms that our server was nice. They seemed very understaffed and made a few mistakes with our meal. Wrong size salad, severed our desserts at the table instead of to go as we asked. We still enjoyed them.Over all things were good and I would likely return but probably not for a holiday as it seems their staff was a bit strained on the busy day.

A beautiful building in a quiet remote location just a few minutes from Baldwinsville. My first visit here was for a Mardi Gras show by the Soda Ash Six. They had a special menu of cocktails, apps and mains for the show. I ordered a spicy rum cocktail to start, along with the Oyster Po Boy sandwich with fries. I asked for garlic aioli instead of ketchup for no upcharge. Everything was perfectly done. I finished with a blackberry gin based cocktail for dessert. I would easily come here again.

Great atmosphere, good service! Food is always changing and stays exciting . Outdoor seating is the best but if you're inside the warm decor will keep you comfortable and entertained. They have live music at least once a week so take note.

In October and December 2023, I went to Persimmons and I ordered the same meal because it was very good- tomato soup with grilled cheese pork sandwich. It may seem simple, but the soup was fantastic. Creamy, flavorful. The grilled cheese was a nice complement to the soup and delicious.I have to be gluten free so I appreciated that the waitress confirmed the soup was GF and the GF bread they used for the grilled cheese was tasty.I gave four stars because that is the only meal I have tried at this restaurant and I know they offer some GF options so when I visit again, I hope they have even more GF meals.
