Our family goes to Sammy Malone’s every year for the Baldwinsville Parade of Lights—it’s part of our tradition. After serious staffing and service issues last year, we decided to give it another try. We arrived early, placed our order well ahead of time, and the bartender entered everything directly from our written out list.
When the food came out, everyone was served except two of the kids. It took a long time to get the bartender’s attention, and even after explaining the mistake, we later found out their meals had been canceled entirely instead of being rushed to be made. The kids ended up with nothing to eat.
The location is perfect and the food is usually great, but this is the second year in a row where the service has fallen apart on one of the busiest nights of the year. They really need more staff both in the kitchen and behind the bar if they want to keep up.

Came here with my daughter for lunch on the weekend. Good atmosphere, great music, good drink but the food....ehhh, it's okay, at least my dish was, which was a chicken wrap. But yeah, I'd come again because I did enjoy everything else ..I'll try just a different dish.

Visited a few times. The apple turkey wrap and burger was delicious. The man behind the bar was friendly and attentive. Nice spot to grab a beer or watch a game on one if the many televisions

They have a good selection of beer and liquor with a tasty menu. They have an above water patio with corn hole and outdoor seating area.
Fantastic! Lived it. Not from the area yet and didn’t know where to go Chat GPT suggested them and I was not disappointed.
I will say I didn’t care much for the French fries but my husband loved them and ate them no problem. The sandwich’s were absolutely great!

We stop for lunch , service is great! Food is excellent, I hade shrimp taco is outstanding, then red paper soup delicious, sandwiches is great!
Went there today. Sat at the bar for 10 minutes without being acknowledged by either of the bartenders. When one went to serve another group that group actually directed the bartender to wait on us first. We were given a beer list and menus. Over 10 more minutes of waiting followed with no service- not even a drink order. Finally left and went across the bridge to Angry BBQ. While Sammy’s was not at all busy AB was but still got great food and service.
Sammy’s has great food but the two women bartenders on this occasion have no business working in food service.
This place is famous for the roast beef. Do yourself a favor and order it!! Its beyond delicious. I had it on a kimmelwick with swiss and i out extra horseradish on. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. So good!
Good food, friendly service, with atmosphere for the quiet types and the bar crowd.
Sammy’s is always great!
