Fantastic! Lived it. Not from the area yet and didn’t know where to go Chat GPT suggested them and I was not disappointed. I will say I didn’t care much for the French fries but my husband loved them and ate them no problem. The sandwich’s were absolutely great!

Went there today. Sat at the bar for 10 minutes without being acknowledged by either of the bartenders. When one went to serve another group that group actually directed the bartender to wait on us first. We were given a beer list and menus. Over 10 more minutes of waiting followed with no service- not even a drink order. Finally left and went across the bridge to Angry BBQ. While Sammy’s was not at all busy AB was but still got great food and service. Sammy’s has great food but the two women bartenders on this occasion have no business working in food service.

This place is famous for the roast beef. Do yourself a favor and order it!! Its beyond delicious. I had it on a kimmelwick with swiss and i out extra horseradish on. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. So good!

Had to get up from the table with my glass and go and search for a refill of ice tea. Asked for a refill at the table and it never came. Another girl who brought out the food had to go get it. After I finished the refill, is when I waited about 15 minutes before going in search of more ice tea.
Food was OK. Typical American style Mexican food.

The food and beer choice is great. The service suffers at time due to the fact they could use a second bartender during their busy hours. However, I do enjoy going to Sammy Malone's.

Absolutely terrible experience. We will never go there again.There were 2 going boys working. They looked to be around 11 years old. They were clearing tables. The thinner boy looked to be doing all the work. The other was running around loudly. He had a dirty dish plastic tub flailing through the air! He ran very close to tables... almost took my chair out from under me.We stopped trying to eat and asked for our bill. We had not even made a dent in our meals. I informed the waitress we could not eat with him running around! She took my card and we left. On the way out, we told the hostess about our experience. There was never any offer to get the boys away from the tables. That was a wasted dinner expense! I will never go there again. I would expect the owner to realize the danger of having those children in the dining area!
