I didn't get a chance to sample the food although it looked good the place was very crowded, I sat at the counter and was ignored for a good 10 minutes by waitstaff, understandable because it was so busy. Then I saw a huge screen streaming Fox News and looked around at the faces of people staring blithely at it and I knew I was in the wrong place. I left.

On 9/30/25 stopped in and had a Greek omlette home fries rye toast. Within 3 hours I was sick vomiting & diarrhea. I'm positive I was infected with a food borne illness. Trip to Malta Urgent care for IV fluids & blood tests. Diagnosis: Gastroenteritis viral or bacterial. Day 9 and still in recovery. I will never eat at this establishment again!

Very busy place, brings the atmosphere up. Decent food and the staff were very nice. They ran out of biscuits and gravy by 11-12 so if you want that do go earlier.

My two friends and I were on our way to the Adirondack Balloon Festival. We stopped at Stewart's first. Nothing for breakfast except....muffins!!! So we decided to go down the street to the Cafe. Nice service and great food!!! Thanks!!!

Great food, great service...every time. The owners and staff do everything possible to ensure your satisfaction. We've had breakfast before and it was delightful. Lunch of burgers as well. Highly diner style. We just happenstance to try an early dinner on Labor Day of all days. Quite surprised with the shrimp and scallops scampi. Shrimp (no scallops but replaced with extra shrimp as agreed with the friendly server) was a bit salty, but the pasta and sauce was perfect. The hints of lemon and butter was addictive. Not your 5 star Italian restaurant chef quality, but surprisingly delicious! It's not a candlelight and wine $$$ establishment. You can't compare apples with oranges, therefore, 5 stars for this Diner's food! My husband was pleased with his chicken marsala and portions as well. Generous with fresh salad and bread rolls. Service was fantastic. Wait time was short for everything considering how busy it was between the floor and take out pick up orders. Highly recommend.

Breakfast is excellent. Dinners are not great. The fish and chips dinner is frozen strips of breaded fish. Soups are good, but the side salads are "aged" in the fridge. Breakfast, though, so good!
