Chester's is some pretty good fried chicken from a gas station. Hot enough you had to wait for it to cool off a bit. The potato wedges also crisp and hot 4 large tenders and a handful of wedges and a drink for 12.00 not a bad deal considering how expensive everything has gotten anymore.

We stumbled upon this place by accident while looking for a lunch spot by the highway. I was a little skeptical since it's inside a gas station. But we decided to trust the reviews and check it out. What a nice surprise! We got the fried bucket/set meal for 28 dollars. It came with generous portions of fried chicken, biscuits, potato wedges, and mac and cheese. Everyone was delicious and well seasoned. Both the chicken and wedges were perfectly fried without being greasy. The chicken came in big pieces and they were good quality meat. They even have a couple tables outside with umbrellas if you want to sit down.
The place is inside of a gas station it's good fried chicken on the go I'm sure if they put this in a standalone building with different dishes and beer it would probably be a pretty good roadside restaurant or something quick and inexpensive great fried checken.
Kid-friendliness: If you're looking to get a quick meal and sit down with your kids not a bad place seat yourself type of thing inside of a gas station there is outdoor seating.
