The food is so good and they’re one of the few places that are open (most) of the time. But when there are 3 people in the restaurant it shouldn’t take 20 minutes to get a cocktail. Or a menu. Or a glass of water. It’s so frustrating because I love the vibe and want the place to be successful but every time I go I have this same experience
My husband and I have had a house in Barryville for 15 years, (3 years living here full time) and were truly delighted when the Rivers Edge opened a couple of years ago. To say it’s been our ‘go to’ for drinks and food is an understatement. It’s our second home. The staff, food and service are all consistently great. The menu changes seasonally and is always delicious. I couldn’t recommend it more for a date night, don’t want to cook night or even surprise birthday...
I really love the area, the atmosphere, and the decor. The staff is welcoming and friendly!

I really enjoyed the eggplant and ricotta pizza. It had great taste, texture and, contrast between flavors! Definitely coming back.
