The food was excellent! The kale sautéed in garlic was especially flavorful — wow! The coconut shrimp was also outstanding. Our waitress provided excellent service and was very attentive throughout our meal. Overall, it was a great experience. We’re definitely coming back!

I had to send calamari back three times to get recooked. I can't believe they tried to serve me white almost uncooked calamari. I sent it back two more times and it finally came out golden and crispy like it's supposed to. Seriously if you can't get simple frying calamari right wtf

The Bayport Fish Store is everything you want in a local spot: warm, welcoming, and consistently delicious. The New England clam chowder is next-level—creamy, flavorful, and full of hearty goodness. The scallop linguini was perfectly balanced, with tender scallops and just the right touch of garlic and herbs. And the fish and chips? Crispy, golden, and cooked to perfection.
What really made our visit exceptional, though, was Nicole, our waitress. She was an absolute rockstar—attentive, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. She made us feel taken care of from the moment we sat down, offering thoughtful suggestions and checking in at all the right times. You can tell she genuinely cares about the guest experience.
This place has that cozy hometown vibe that’s getting harder to find these days. Great food, great people, and great service—we’ll absolutely be back.

Bought flounder had huge live worms in it the business needs a inspection someone will get sick and sent to the hospital!!! Even the crab cakes I bought had a rub band in it!! Will never shop at this business again!! Everyone beware!!!

Not enough good things to say about The Fish Store! From the incredibly friendly and helpful staff to the absolutely delicious food, they are always our family favorite for dine-in, take out, AND always our first choice to cater an event! Recently brought some friends there who had never been and the first thing they said after thoroughly enjoying their meal was “we will definitely be back here!” And we will too!
