Incredibly rude, ignored me asking for no ice, dumped some ice and refilled with iced coffee for my $9 coffee. This woman Lola took over 20 minutes to remedy the error and customers are laughing. Not appropriate, make me the coffee I paid for, I thank you, I leave. If there’s a mistake, we discuss it like adults - not whatever this was

I’m sorry to leave this review on the Bellport warehouse page but that just so happens to be our home center, the one star review is geared more towards BJ’s wholesale customer service center wherever or whatever that may be. The customer service on the phone has literally been equivalent to the entrance level right before you enter the gates of hell. It was the most bizarre experience of mine and my husbands life, we have never come across a company so incompetent, unorganized and unprofessional ever in our lives. We have purchased several large items through BJ’s; shed, gazebo, mattresses are a few examples and where we made the mistake was a couch. Less than a year ago we purchased a couch, we have no animals or anything with claws where the stitching and the seams of all of the cushions were completely unraveling, we paid over $1000 for the couch and under the return and warranty we we’re eligible for a refund, we said if we could have the couch replaced awesome but if it’s the refund too that’s fine. We went through customer service for over a month, a dozen different representatives and every single phone call was basically like starting over, not a single worker knew what we were talking about or our case even after giving our case number and an email trail of numerous emails and photos and still not a single person was able to help us we finally got to the point of every phone call we automatically asked for a manager and even the managers were incompetent. Finally after over a month they finally (after a large fight) had their warehouse come and pick up the couch, we call a few days later to check on the status of refund and the representative tells us she has NO PROOF THE COMPANY CAME TO PICK UP THE COUCH!! This escalated to speaking with a manager who told us we would have to wait 3-5 days to hear from the specials team to decide if they will offer a refund or a store credit, which the store credit was never mentioned to us, and this is also comping from the same manager that told us 3 weeks ago he’d get back to us in 3-5 days and after several emails to him he never responded! I am not a person that usually leaves reviews especially bad ones and I apologize again for leaving this on the Bellport store, I can’t find where to leave a review for BJ’s in general, but never in my life have I dealt with a more unreliable company, it truly was like we were in the twilight zone! Would give their customer service zero stars if I could, and we made the decision we will never purchase a big item ever again. Best of luck to you if you ever have to call and deal with their horrible customer service team

The male manager working today around 2:30 and checkout is a saint, he’s sooo patient and extremely understanding. Give him a raise

Very disappointed in this bjs location . I shop here weekly for the past 2 years and each time it gets worse. I literally have a list
1) the workers either all have attitudes or no communication skills at all ( excluding a few that are extremely nice )
2) in-store pick up has been mixed . Some workers are great and help with the loading, while others literally walk up to you either watching something on their phone or physically on it and then walk away without offering to help, load or saying hello or goodbye which is a simple common courtesy
3) parking lot always has shopping carts in the pick up area so you can’t park / garbage throughout the entire parking lot
4) more than once having either rotten /spoiled /expired food/ warm meat that should be kept refrigerated ( especially the air that inflates the packages when you known it has been refrigerated, left out and then refrigerated again)
5) place an online order for a certain time , let’s say 4 PM , then all of a sudden you get a text at 10 AM telling you that your food is ready for pick up( I don’t know if there’s a refrigerator section for in-store pick up because anytime I’ve been in that store and I go to leave, which is where they keep those food items and I don’t believe its refrigerated area.)

If it wasn’t for the convenience for this location and gas station , I would definitely get rid of my membership

I never usually have an issue with this BJ's location, but today proved differently. One of the associates working the self-checkout station that was assigned to *assist* customers with this task, was very unfriendly. I'm sure people have their "bad days" and perhaps this was hers, despite that, her irritable demeanor was unnecessary.

Great place to shop. They always have what i am looking for in store.

everyone at this store is rude. guy at front door, deli people never know what i’m asking about, customer service woman rude. out if half the stuff i go for every single time. Today no broccoli florets. last time the turkey i went in for none left. I’m going to cancel and go back to sams club. You ask a worker a question they pretend like they don’t hear you. Stand on a long line to leave the store so the guy can check receipts. I’ve heard of waiting on line at register but to leave the store ?? waiting on a line?? I’m done with bjs

Regularly short staffed, unskilled staff, under trained staff...the self checkout is also a mess. The deli counter might as well be every man for themselves.

Store started off strong but after today, I’m probably going back to Costco.
Today was the final push. The AT&T guy was extremely rude, when I told him I’m in a hurry, he had the audacity to say “You’re always in a hurry, just answer my question”. Your team is doing a reset during business hours in the gum aisle and I tried to flag one of them down. I saw what I needed. I was told “Aisle is closed, we’re working.” Meanwhile they were sitting on pallets joking around.
I’ve been doing 80% of my households grocery shopping here since this location opened and at the beginning, it was great.
Now I buy expired meat out of the refrigerator case. Now they’re out of stock on the 3 pack milk more than they’re in stock. Now when you have a coupon, you have to pray the product is in stock, because chances are it won’t be. Then there’s always the chance it’s there, but up in topstock and the team members you ask to take it down either say it’s not their department or they say they’ll get a machine and never come back.
If I wasn’t in a hurry to get home to my son, I probably would have walked up to the main desk to cancel my membership.

The deli section is always short staffed they don't have what I want. I speak to a manager and all I get are excuses.
