Went to Porters for a family celebration for my Girlfriend Friday night
It took a 1/2 hour to get our 1st order of drinks and apps …. Another 1/2 hour for them to arrive…
I ordered filet mignon med
It came out mooing 🐮blood red raw..
The waitress asked if it was good as I said no not really it’s rare and she brought it back to the kitchen to cook a little more … the same piece came out previously cut up by me - with sauce drizzled on to cover up the red meat which was exactly the same (raw)
Separate checks for the family (couples) my gf & myself being $285 for a terrible filet & a grilled chicken Cesar salad & a few drinks (which the filet was Not removed from the bill after the waitress asked the second time if it was any better - I said no - she said I’m sorry
Total for 3 couples $750
7pm reservations
2 hour wait for dinner to arrive at our table (9pm)

The server was very nice, nice feel, the fireplace was on and it was 70°f outside not so comfortable. Food was really good. Again so hot it was hard to want to stay for dessert.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this restaurant. My wife and I needed a place to have lunch before going to see Phantom at the local theater. We ate at the bar and was really happy with Porters. Fast forward to this weekend... we needed a place for friends from High School ( shout out to Long Island Lutheran). It was the perfect distance from all involved. They were so patient as we waited for the last two, and allowed us to linger for as long as we wanted. Service, food and drinks were wonderful and our friends were so happy with our choice! Love the Maine Lunch!!!

Wonderful dinner! Lobster roll and appetizers were delicious. Lobster bisque had nice chunks of lobster. Ordered a New York strip and received a different cut. Was good but not what was expected

Porters is one of our favorite places to go for lunch and dinner when we can sit out on the porch. The food is always great (I had the maple glazed salmon) and sitting outside in Bellport village is always a treat.

The food was excellent, one of the best lobster rolls I have ever had. The restaurant was loud, we ate inside so it seems the noise echos. The service was good but I would have liked the server to check on us more often. We had to wait to order more drinks, and to get our check at the end.

Food was ok. The noise level was painful. We were 6 peiople and we couldn't have a normal converstion We ate inside and would never go back.
We love to eat on the porch and watch the world go by. The staff is really organized and the service is excellent. The kitchen was a bit overwhelmed on a Saturday night. No food came out for more than 30 minutes.

Great experience - we were a large group meeting before a show at the Gateway Playhouse. Table was ready for our reservation time, food was absolutely delicious and our server was wonderful. She got us out with plenty of time to make the show!😊👍

First time coming here. The waitress was incredible, absolutely attentive and made sure to treat all tables the same. Even spoke directly to my niece who is only 7, which was a plus for us because we are trying to teach her to be independent. The food was great and the value was exceedingly fair. The noise wasn't horrible. I read a lot of reviews where I assumed we wouldn't be able to hear each other but that wasn't the case at all. We will definitely be coming back.
