I’m very disappointed to have to submit this review but Shelby’s continues to go downhill. Almost every time we place a breakfast or lunch order, they find a way to get the order wrong. Today I ordered two items - a Strong Man and an everything bagel - lightly toasted, light on the cream cheese with spinach and egg white (To go). What I got instead…. a plain roll without cream cheese, remnants of a fried egg and two leafs of spinach. As for the Strong Man, it had almost nothing inside of it?!? Guys, feel free to splurge with the leafs of spinach (it won’t break the bank) and while you’re at it, throw some egg in there! Then, when I was walking out, the guy behind the counter chased me down to say he forgot my toasted everything bagel and gave it to me in a separate bag (I hadn’t opened anything yet) which left me confused until I got home and saw what they did. Screwing up basic orders seems to be par for the course here. Since I’ve been coming here, it’s happened numerous times which is more than a shame. Then there’s the issue of their breakfast sandwiches continually getting smaller. The Strong Man used to be worthy of its name. I’ve witnessed it getting smaller and smaller over the years. It should at least be re-named to “Wimpy Man” now so buyers know what they’re getting - a Wimpy breakfast sandwich. I can’t take it anymore.

There's not many spots on Long Island that I crave to eat, more specialized foods in NYC and other areas but this Deli has great food and inviting atmosphere. Nice people too

I've ordered from here a few times, but my most recent experience was disappointing. I got a side of potato salad, and it was drenched in mayonnaise with an odd color. After eating it, I ended up with an upset stomach.
Additionally, the staff can be quite rude, especially as closing time approaches. As a fellow business owner in the village, I'm shocked by the way they treat customers, especially in a town known for its boutique charm.

We used Shelby's Kitchen to cater my retirement party aboard the Rosie fishing boat. They made us wraps, heros and salads. Communication with Tom was great! They arrived early to set up and provided everything we needed. Everyone raved about the wraps. Highly recommend!

I went in for just a chicken salad sandwich on whole wheat with lettuce… there were 3 different types of chicken salad… I asked the person (a kid) behind the counter to please give me the shredded chicken salad… he didn’t know what I meant to I explained… I got this instead… a leaky bread soaking sandwich with globes of fat covered in a dressing that should be mayonnaise & 3 times I had to spit out chunks of fat & the chicken had the fat attached around it as well! $9.15 for a lunch I had to throw out! I’m disgusted!

Had brunch catered by Shelbys. Hot breakfast buffet was delicious and plentiful. Cold meats/cheeses/salads/rolls were nicely displayed and also very tasty. My guests were very impressed with the array of foods. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a local deli that puts on a first class set up.
Every single time I go there the order is incorrect. I only go there when I’m in a hurry hoping it will be better but now I’m done. First time I get green on my roll my eggs were on I got oh that’s just avocado that was left on the dirty knife. Then I get Mac and cheese instead of French fries , then I get ketchup when I say no ketchup. So with so many other delis around I will be going alittle further and stay away from Shelby’s kitchen. I called to talk to management an I was told she’s to busy to be bothered so I told the girl who couldn’t care less.

Awful service and average food. If you order for pickup, they’ll give you a time it’s ready, but they still won’t start the food until you arrive, and then they’ll make you wait for it. Go anywhere else in Bellport if you’re looking for food.

Came to visit Long Island, and ran up on this place. Odered a bacon egg and cheese on a bagle. Everything was to perfection. The eggs was perfect, bacon perfect. The bagel was perfectly lightly toasted. Staff is awesome, environment is awesome. I will visit this place everytime I visit L.I.Thank you staff members.
