I had one of the best slices of pizza I've eaten in a long time. Good quality ingredients, and folks who know pizza is really good with alot of cheese. 🤗 The crust though....next level. Superior crunch and perfectly made. It's quaint inside, but worth sitting at a table to enjoy piping hot. I promise you want to experience this. 😊

I havent had a Denny's sub in 40 yrs. Nothing has changed. The best is still the best. Denny himself was actually in house. I love all of Dennys food.!!! The shakes are also the best.

I consider myself a sub and hoagie con isuer. I heard that Denny's sub shop in big flats was a good place to get a quality sub. Well, I tried it out a few months ago and was very disappointed. I ordered a full Italian sub and a regular sub. The regular has ham and salami on it and the Italian only has salami. They charge extra for tomatoes and banana peppers . The Italian sub had three slices of salami at most and two slices of provolone cheese. Tons of lettuce and chopped onions. I added banana peppers and tomatoes. They use roma tomatoes. The tomatoes were sliced too thick. I also wanted oil and vinegar . It tasted like a cheap Italian dressing from a grocery store. Next ,the regular sub had 2 slices of ham and three slices of salami on it . All sliced very thin. This one also had a lot of lettuce,chopped onions and I added tomatoes and banana peppers with the oil and vinegar ,again it tasted like cheap Italian dressing from a grocery store. both of these subs were a let down. I will continue my search for a truly great sub or hoagie in the Elmira NY area.

Fantastic food and service. Went out of their way to accommodate our group. Sandwiches were delicious, and the shakes were on point. Definitely returning. Small, quaint, indoor seating area, but we took our sandwiches to a local park. They helped prepare them for transport.

If I could give more stars, I would. The food is great, the people who work there are wonderful, and the atmosphere is great. The only thing that would make it better would be being open longer hours and weekend hours. But the workers there have lives as well so I understand that

This little hole in the wall sub shop is on my must hit list every time I return to town. I love love love their pizza subs! I've been going here for many many years and now live in AZ, but each time I return to visit family, they know I will be heading here. The owner, Denny, is the nicest guy you will ever meet! I'm sorry to hear he's been dealing with some health issues lately, but glad to see the place is still chugging along!! My go to, and the only thing I've ever had here, is the pizza sub!! Yum!!!
