A full sup before $8.99????? Yes, please! And delicious and homemade bread... yummy.
Place has been open over 120 years ! It’s amazing ! And epic !
This is a nice local spot that had been in the area operating for quite sometime. I decided to check them out to see their offerings. They list a variety of sandwiches, of course there’s plenty of bread and rolls you can grab. They have the closest thing I’ve seen to a Mafalde roll but it was still a bit different and certainly baked a day or two ago. They have cookies, which are delicious! I had an apple pie oatmeal cookie. I’d go there just for that alone; they were great and not overly sweet. I bought a brownie which I had the day after. It was topped with a fudge-y icing and was too sweet for my taste but good to see options. I’d like to come back and try a sandwich sometime. Their bread is found in markets all around, even in Chenango County, I just saw their bread and information about their bread at The Butcher’s and Cuts & Deli in Greene. I love seeing locals supporting locals.
My son and I found this place quite by accident, I've been a Binghamton resident for over a decade and never knew it was there and I'm so glad that I found it we went in and had roast beef subs, the bread was just amazing, you could have probably put crap on there and it would have tasted good. Just based off of the sandwiches I decided to have them cater my best friends celebration of life. Not only did days fully cater it at an amazing price, but Stacy in particular, was so incredibly helpful. The day before I found out that we were going to have an additional 30 to 50 people and she was able to accommodate me and was amazing about it and we had plenty of food we had two 3 ft subs, macaroni salad, potato salad, 2 pans of baked ziti, a pan of sausages, a pan of onions and peppers, big pan of toss salad, salad dressing, mayonnaise, mustard, sub sauce, dinner rolls for the ziti, sausage rolls for the sausage, oh pizzas we had pizzas... And she even brought napkins because I forgot them. She was amazing, the staff at this bakery are amazing and the food was phenomenal. I can't give it a high enough review. Everybody loved the food. I'll be calling them for my son's graduation party!
Food was standard, and the service was better than average.
Best place to get fish on Fridays. Staff are super friendly!
I grew up in Binghamton (late 70s) and would go get bread an doughnuts every Sunday after Mass growing up. Great memories and the Fried Fish subs on Fridays are a MUST try!
Very amazing place ! Best half moon cookies I’ve ever had and amazing pizza and fish fry that’s been around 120 years !
Great family owned bakery! One of our favorite lunch places.

Nothing but druggies working here. Dirty place. Bad food. No food safety at all. The new owners sent this place to the ground. They have rats and bugs in the bakery.

Rude isn't the term. Beyond rude on the phone when I tried ordering takeout. As if I were an inconvenience? Employee looked like he rolled out of bed and didn't shower. Didn't eat the food, simply can't trust it given how I was treated.
A local icon sadly ruined by new owners.
