James and Steve were amazing. We were a group of over 20 people. From the beginning to the end of our time in Iron Agave, we had a great experience. The service was great, and food was delicious!!! I definitely recommend Iron Agave.

This place is absolutely great. We were passing through on our way from NYC to western NY and needed a good spot to get out of the car for a while. We picked this place based on its reviews. The food was absolutely excellent. We had nachos, wings, and tacos - chicken, beef and shrimp, and all were extremely good. The prices are reasonable, and arguably very reasonable for what you get. Would 100% return and actually put it on my list of restaurants to remember next time I'm driving through that area.

We’re newly-transplanted Texans and believe this is the closest thing to Tex-Mex in the area. Iron Agave is our secret to surviving our first winter here. We’re also fans of Sabrina and Steve!

$30 for 3 birria tacos is absolutely outrageous!!! Especially with such a tiny amount of beef in them. Birria tacos should never be more than $5/a taco. Very disappointing.
Reply to response: Unlikely, good luck.
Palomas y margaritas are supreme. We really enjoyed the tacos, chips and guacamole and fajitas. Say ‘Hello’ to Shannon, one of the best mixmaster and waitress you’ll ever find. Great atmosphere too. Their house made quac, dressings and salads are terrific.
Highly recommended!

The food is amazing: empanadas, chips and queso, CHILI LIME SALMON, shrimp ceviche (chef's kiss), arroz con leche (rice pudding), and churros. Churros were on point, and the rice pudding resembled my Spanish parents recipe (thanks to the head chef for his family recipe). Employees here are very nice. Brooke was an amazing and attentive waitress!
The atmosphere is much needed for this area (we're transplants from the tri-state). There is an OVERABUNDANCE of bars (burger, fries, beer. Rinse and repeat - EVERYWHERE), so it's refreshing to have this place exist! My husband and I saw that they have salsa nights, and we're excited to drop in and see what that's like.
To those who want "authentic" Mexican food: this is more of a fusion place. Their menu items change and the chef and management do a great job switching it up.
Also, for my tri-state folks downstate (coming from a Peruvian): this is Binghamton. There is a very very minute amount of Hispanic/Latino food here, ok? So comparing it to what there is back home is messed up. There is no competition there. You gotta make the best of what you have. If you want the closest thing to "authentic" Mexican food, go to a straight up Mexican restaurant (or go back downstate). And EVEN THEN the Mexican places here serve the same thing (overly cheesy everything). So, again, you're limited. Don't set your expectations where you'll be sorely disappointed.

We went for restaurant week and loved our food! The chicken enchiladas were amazing and the arroz con leche dessert was phenomenal! Hubs enjoyed his steak fajitas and wedge salad, too. Service was stellar and drinks were strong! Only complaint was the loud music but I think that's due to the person running trivia. I would 100% recommend and return!
