More than five stars. As a chef, I'm picky about my food & this went over & above. Hole in the wall, and some of the best food I had on a two-week road trip. Standout items: omelet with swiss, onion, & mushroom (farm-fresh eggs & a classic combo, done right) and slabs of buttered sourdough bread as good as any I've had at a San Francisco bakery. Service was also a standout for me; they went out of their way to help us with a couple of things we needed and finished up by sending me on my way with a takeout cup of iced tea. If I'm ever in the neighborhood again - and I'd go out of my way to make this happen - I will definitely be here for my breakfast again!

I've been going to this place for years but the other morning I stopped in for a breakfast sandwich and was thoroughly disappointed. The sandwich was tiny and not filling at all. For $6.50 I would have been better off going to McDonald's
