I was visiting and determined to get my hometown delicacy. I tried the lamb spiedie with a side of pasta salad. It didn't disappoint, wasn't as hot as I'd like it but ate it anyway. Worth the time, price and wait. The person taking my order didn't seem enthusiastic, the atmosphere could use a make over.

Seems this time of year we see new crews. This year's crew is the best we have experienced in the past 4 years. We hope they all stay! Every aspect improved 100%??

Worst customer service. I called on a Monday to inquire about the price of a pound of lamb spiedies I was informed and I said okay I will have my wife call back when she is available to pick up. Lady said ok. I had my wife call and they informed her they are closed on Monday. Why couldn't she tell me that. So still in the mood for spiedies I called Tuesday at 12:15 for a pound of lamb spiedies and a lamb sub. I was informed that they wouldn't be ready until 1:05-1:10 I said that I have to be back to work at 1:00. The guy told me that wouldn't work he had a full grill and not enough room for a pound of lamb spiedies. I called back and asked to speak to the owner and was told they where unavailable and when I asked when they would be I received no answer. At that point the manager who didn't come to the phone offed to make the spiedies for me.

I’m not sure how this restaurant is still open. What I saw when I tried to buy a meal there turned my stomach! My family ended up throwing our food away and walking out. I’m not sure how the health department hasn’t shut this place down. The floors were filthy. It was so greasy it felt like a skating rink. I saw an employee with the name tag ‘Brenda’ wipe her nose with gloves on and then continued to make food. She was also rude to my party and the next people she was waiting on. The meat was dry and the bun was stale. So GROSS! We will NEVER go back here again. Brenda should be reported to the health department! Go to Spiedi & Rib Pitt on Front Street! It’s clean, fast and affordable.

We absolutely love this place. I always kid my last meal would be a cheese burger sub with everything and large cheese fries. The best part is they cook your fries when you get there so they are always hot when you get home

Only real Spiedie joint in town.... except they don't use Italian bread. Lamb is excellent. Everything else is good too. Place isn't the cleanest but the food (particularly the speidies) make it a 6 out of 5.... the decor is a 3 and service a 5. Overall... its a 5 plus.

The lamb spiedies were absolutely delicious, but the place looks like it hasn’t been updated since 1978 … or cleaned since 2006!

Sausage was dry and likely sitting for a while. The speides were really good though. The wait wasn't bad either, pretty quick and friendly service.

The original Speidies. Got some pre-marinaded lamb and pork Speidies to save myself the several days of waiting. Great food, legendary local specialty.

Nice facility, clean and well kept.Order at the counter, and your number is called once your food is ready.Food was awesome! Ordered a chicken spiedie sandwich, and garbage fries.Cut the sandwich in half, and shared both the sandwich and large portion of fries with my wife, so even with a shared drink we both had enough to satisfy us both, for less than $18.The menu includes chicken and lamb spiedie subs and wraps, cold sandwiches such as roast beef Italian and turkey, soups, burgers, sides like onion rings, mozz sticks, salads, and so much more! You can also purchase a variety of items from the deli like fresh lamb, marinated chicken, World Famous Lupos Spiedie sauce (by the gallon!), and many other options!Oh, I forgot to take before pictures of our food, so I included the after pictures just to show that we ate every last bite of our meal!Fantastic location, menu, and food!!!!Parking: Ample parking.

Love the spedies! Had to request and remind the staff 3 times that the Lamb was going in a separate bag and that the subs were ordered with extra sub sauce.Chicken was over cooked and charred. The lamb and pork was spot on with flavor and tenderness

Pretty unbeatable sandwich for the price. Juiciest meat and chicken on a simple Felix Roma roll. Fries are great. Staff is friendly. This location is on the dirtier side, but it kind of adds to the old style charm. Definitely will return.

Recently picked up a catering order of 23 lbs of spiedies for a family event. Lupo’s made feeding a bunch of people easy & delicious. And I was honestly surprised at how affordable it was - $236 after tip for all those spiedies & bread. I was super happy & will do the exact same thing next summer. Thank you.

So good! Don't be scared away by the exterior or the neighborhood. Everyone was very friendly and the spiedies were outstanding. Spiedies are chunked meat (ex: chicken, beef, lamb) that's been marinated and served various ways (ex: in wraps, buns, on salads). It's a local thing and a must try.

Ordered a chicken Spiedie. Could've been juicier but good. The Spiedie meat was precooked sitting in a steamer pan. They spooned it onto the roll like a cafeteria. Next time I'm in the area I'll have to try the other Spiedie joints.
