Went here b/c De Island Hut wasn't open and when I arrived I noticed flies flying all over the place and how dirty the interior was. After a wait I got my food and when I dug in I noticed that it did not taste good at all. If u want decent Caribbean food don't go here!

Absolutely fantastic jerk chicken and the mac and cheese is also excellent. The portions are extremely generous compared to the cost. Today I tried the Plantains and fell in love. I really cannot recommend this place enough. DELICIOUS.

We ordered large jerk chicken, large oxtail and small oxtail. Total was $64 plus tip. We requested side order of greens, side order of yams, and Mac and cheese- NONE of which was available , they do not serve?! The platter included cabbage and rice a peas. All plates were small to size with extremely small portions. Jerk chicken had a sweet flavor and didn’t taste jerk at all. Wasn’t a bad taste but not jerk (even if considered mild- more sweet taste). Cabbage was dry minimal flavor. Rice and peas were ok. Sides were dry and sitting too long. Ox tail fatty, small, not good cut. Minimal flavor. Atmosphere was ok but not necessarily clean. No gloves worn when dishing out food- noticed immediately. Cabbage and rice and peas are precooked and dry-open to air on line. Customer service poor, unfriendly. Area and parking were ok- recommend parking at lot across the street. Give this restaurant 3/10. Would not recommend.

Pancho's is incredible. The flavors are spot on and they're serving oxtail daily among other Caribbean classics. My only regret is I didn't have a big enough stomach to get a beef patty with cocoa bread. I look forward to the next time. Get to Robinson St and check it out.

I can't believe what a jewel this place is - Pancho's is beating out Jamaican restaurants in the city with their menu and you can get it right here on Robinson st. They got the hits - Oxtail, jerk chicken, rice and peas, cabbage, mac and cheese, whiting, fries chicken all served hot and fresh. If you haven't been yet, what on earth are you waiting for? This is a 5 star all day.

The food was dry and lacked flavor. It definitely was not Jamaican food. It is overpriced, and I couldn’t even finish it, ended up throwing out most of the plate.

This place is so disgusting.

The food got the seal of approval from my Jamaican mother, the Oxtail in particular. Small plate was more than enough for me.
