Wonderful setting above the river and waterfall. The Diner is a nice place for a meal and service is excellent and friendly. The food is uneven. Omelettes were great, pancakes ok, burger... did not rise to that level. The decor does not take full advantage of the positioning of the place and the space could use a bit of a modern touch to maximize exposure to the river.
Been going here for years, so I figured it's time to leave a review. The service and the atmosphere is great. The view alongside the river is nice and the staff frequently check up on you, even when they are busy. The food, however, has gone down in quality in recent years. I've never had food that was prepared poorly or inadequately, but the quality of dishes of the same price range has varying degrees of quality in terms of both taste and ingredients. If you go here frequently, you'll know which dishes are great (such as the Gyro) and which dishes are not as great (Fish n' Chips). That being said, all of the breakfast items I've had there has been great!

I had breakfast here on September the 14th. I had a western omelet, it was horrible 😫...homefries had no onions, green or red peppers....sad!

Our family stopped here while driving past Binghamton at dinner time and had a great meal. The waitstaff were friendly, and the food was much better than what we would have eaten at a fast food restaurant. Despite looking busy, we were seated right away and the food came quickly. We stuck to burgers and sandwiches even though they had a lot more options. We enjoyed the view of the river and could see some people fishing, which kept our kids entertained. The food was very reasonably priced too! It was easy to get to/from Route 17/I-86 with gas stations along the way my phone routed me. There's parking on both sides of the restaurant and across the street. I'm definitely saving this in my phone so that we can stop again next time we are driving past at a mealtime.
