The food here is delicious! So much variety and it’s all so consistently good. They have baked goods but also sandwiches and other savory items. The coffee and drinks are delicious as well. They have some creative specialty beverages that are fun to try, and the best part is the enthusiasm of the staff when you try their creation! It can get crowded on the weekend mornings - it is fairly small inside, no bathroom, and there is not too much seating. However, the tables usually turn over quickly so something usually pops up. Best for groups of 2 or 3 people, but I have been here with larger groups of 4-6 as well. If you have a larger group it’s better to get there earlier. Overall, love this place, great bustling vibe, and it has always been worth the visit!

In town for business for awhile and this is my favorite coffee spot!
I've only ever gotten food to go so atmosphere I do not have good knowledge on BUT the food is AMAZING! Especially since I have to have gluten free, they are wonderful!

I’ve been coming here almost every Monday since my sophomore year of high school (I’m a junior now) they have been so nice every single time, my order of a large vanilla bubble tea with a green tea base, vanilla, tapioca, and light ice (and sometimes the almond croissant) always make me so delighted and always make me feel so much whimsy and joy with my life. The drinks 10/10, the food 10/10, the staff 10/10. The reason why the food and drinks taste so good is because they put love into it! If anyone wants to try food or drinks in the area i recommend this place!

We each ordered an omelet (with side potatoes included), bagel /toast (not included)and a drink. The toast was $2 extra. When I asked for jelly to go on the toast I was told it is another extra charge. Who charges for a little container of jelly??
We have traveled around the world and across the US. I have never encountered being charged for jam to go with the toast you've purchased!
Can't recommend this place.

Strange Brew is exactly what the name promises—in the best way possible. Quirky, cozy, and buzzing with good energy, it’s the kind of coffee shop where you walk in for a latte and suddenly feel like you’re part of a secret club of caffeine enthusiasts. The drinks are creative (they’re not afraid to get weird—in a delicious way), and the food hits the spot every time. Plus, the vibe is artsy without trying too hard—think eclectic décor, good music, and baristas who somehow know when you need that extra shot of espresso. Easily one of the most fun hangout spots in Binghamton.

Coffee was amazing, Service and the staff all were super nice,
Only downside i had was the buffalo mac and cheese,
The flavor was alright nothing amazing but after careful dissecting the bowl i only found about 3 tiny strains of chicken,
Not sure if i just got unlucky with the scooping, but otherwise it was a good visit just from how good the drink was alone and i will be coming again and trying different food items next time,

My partner and I went here for breakfast on a beautiful Sunday morning around 9. It was a little busy, but there were tables available still for seating. I have a gluten allergy and the barista took my order and answered all my questions!
I got the egg white omelet with a side salad. (The potato side has gluten) It was absolutely delicious and made with a chef’s kiss. The presentation blew me away! I wish I got a photo of our meals for our review but we had to dig in immediately. And the ingredients were fresh! I wanted to sit there all day, sip my coffee and order more food for lunch time. The bakery section looked phenomenal. We got 2 gluten free pastries items to go.
Everyone was super friendly. The only thing that upset me was that 2 customers there brought in coffee from another place, 7brew?! How rude of those customers. They did order food from Strange brew. But how weird… who brings coffee from another establishment to a place that sells way better coffee.
Next time I will try a sandwich and sub the bread with a gluten free wrap.
I love you, Strange Brew.

Short walk from the hotel so we decided to support local rather than eat breakfast at hotel. Had a Brooklyn egg bagel sandwich which was outstanding..the actual bagel was so fresh and soft…perfect. Didn’t get any coffee as I already had a cup at the hotel but lots of folks had specialty coffees so they must do it right. It is a small place and it got crowded quickly…people know the good places. If I was to come back to this area, I’d definitely go back.
Great food and coffee. Very polite and helpful team.
