There are roaches as i seen one crawling on the floor, I have seen more then a few with my own eyes, the servers are a bit lazy as usual, the food is distasteful for the love of God whoever is running the kitchen needs to be replaced with someone else, so far the soups have changed so much and I can tell it's just not the same as before, like when I used come, I stopped by yesterday for something quick and warming since it's chilly out and it was disappointing, this place has definitely lost its touch. It's sad to see it's being run downhill.

This restaurant and pub was completely awesome in every way. Dave, my bartender and host, was attentive and ready to serve the hungry people assembled early.
I digress, I arrived at 4 pm after a day at work that began before dawn. Long story short, the wait to order food until 5 pm was well worth it, and previous reviews are correct in stating to get there early.
My soup was rich with love, my filet mignon was cooked perfectly medium rare, and my entire experience was outstanding.
Thank you!

Been here multiple times. Service has unfortunately gone down hill substantially. Food wasnt as good as it was. Tonight, I was told 15-20 Minutes. Another couple was sat immediately upon egressing through the door, after we had already waited a solid 15 minutes. My daughter was hungry and instead of seating us, they sat them. They dont take reservations, so im absolutely confused and pissed off as to why, my mother, daughter and myself wait while. Meanwhile, someone can jump in front of us, almost waiting 20 minutes. Absolutely, one if the most embarrassing and awful service experience Ive experienced in a while. Steaks are usually overcooked, especially if you prefer rare or mid-rare. Id expect better from a neighborhood restaurant that people talk so highly of… I have no idea why. Id give negative stars if I could . Go to Cacciatores or outback if you want a good steak. This place is 🗑️

My friend got the filet mignon sandwich. It was bun, meat and bun. On what planet does that count as a sandwich. That is steak and bread. I felt so bad I paid for his meal. Also the au poivre sauce is not sauce they tried to feed me mustard gravy. I dont even know if there was pepper in there.

Great prices and great food. Service was also fantastic and everything came out at a great pace in an appropriate manner.
Third time visiting in the last couple of months. Seems like many patrons know the owner and each other. Food was great every time. Have had the orange roughy, twin tornados bearnaise, pork chop and Swiss chicken. All cooked perfectly and tasty. Sides are always cooked properly as well.
Dinner with friends, we were seated immediately on a Friday evening (6:30pm).
The service was friendly and very attentive. Water glass was always filled.
My sirloin was delicious and cooked medium well perfectly. The huge bowl of cheesey cauliflower soup was, sadly, not very flavorful. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meal.
The Beef is a decent sized restaurant, next to Leroy's Package Store. There is a bar when you walk in. Then the restaurant seating is a walk around. The decor is dark wood with low lighting.
The night we were there, 2 couples in the table next to us were very loud and tipsy. Tough time hearing the wait service.
Still we enjoyed our dinner and left satisfied.
The food is good, but not great. The service is very good. The prices are high for the most part and there is a 4% surcharge for using a credit or debit card that is not stated on the menu or website. Dinner for 3 with 1 shared appetizer and a bottle of wine ran $225., $234. plus tip, for using a credit card since I don’t carry that kind of cash around normally. No ATM.
A really enjoyable experience at a local pub/restaurant. Great steaks, sides, and service. Be aware, the dining room doesn't open until 5pm. We went on a Saturday night and it was very crowded and a bit noisy, but our server was fantastic and the steaks were melt in your mouth.

Who ever is the waitress with the bandana is disgustingly rude and needs to be fired. Walked in to grab a table for my family while they waited in the car and was seated by another waitress. I went out to my family and walked them in and sat at the table. This woman with a bandana (not the same as the one that sat me) came up to me and family and said “Typically we are a wait to be seated restaurant” I explained I was seated by another waitress and I simply went out to grab the rest my family. She RUDELY remarked “I’m sure” the food was delicious but her rudeness disgusted me for the rest of the meal.

Great local steakhouse. Very laid back and casual atmosphere, but with attentive service. Steaks were cooked perfectly. Will definitely be back.

Close when the hours indicated they were supposed to be open.
It does NOT open at 1 pm, and I'm not sure why the owners would allow such wrong hours to be posted on Google. We sat there with my 102 year old mother, waiting to come in for lunch, and the person inside rudely said they were not open until 4.
Nothing is made fresh. French onion soup was made with packaged minced onion flakes; house made potato fries were just baked potatoes cut in soggy slices. The food tastes just like the atmosphere - stale.
