Honestly haven’t been to a place in downtown this good in a while.. it’s definitely a place with good food. The price are decent for what it is alittle high but for how well the food was id pay it again!!! The staff where all very nice also wasn’t very busy since it was down pouring.. fast service it only took 10-15 mins for our food to come out we where in and out in within 45 mins the only complaint is that the high stools are kinda uncomfortable ?

Best Burgers in town hands down! Awesome crepes as well.Unassuming from outside, step inside and it feels like a place out of a bigger city, but somehow still keeps a welcoming vibe. Friendly staff too! Can't go wrong stopping by here when they're open.

In my quest for a reasonable size burger, we found ourselves at The Shop. A winter Saturday lunch with another couple was an opportunity to catch up with them and enjoy a meal in a first time dining adventure. We hadn't seen an ad for the place, and didn't know of it until today. We were seated right away, and joined a very good lunch crowd. The wait staff were busy, and perhaps could have used another hand or two. Once the other couple arrived, our orders were taken The orders were accurately served, but there was a ten minute wait for our salad eater's dressing to show up. All meals lived up to expectations. Two iterations of burgers, an order of crepes, and a single serve margaria pizzetta, were the bill of fare. The drinks were Chai Tea Latte and Lavender Vanilla Latte. We noted that no ice was included with our glasses of water, which were kept topped up quite nicely. The Shop is upscale price wise. Don't plan to drop by for a quick lunch at a low price. Also, unless your favorite beer is the local micro brand they seem to serve exclusively, you're out of luck brew-wise. A pleasant, clean, old building with modern touches and interesting wall art, as well as friendly staff to meet your needs, are what to expect. There might be a lot of families in for lunch as there was today, so don't expect quiet conversations. If your tax bracket allows, go and enjoy.

This place is a great place for a good ambiance boozy brunch but if you are looking for top notch food it's just eh. I had a solid latte here for 6 bucks at the time and got to spend a while chit chatting with the wife at the coffee bar which gave me ample time to also see what the baristas were up to. They do a heavy pour mimosa and I assume other drinks but honestly I was mostly impressed with how deep a pour the mimosa was. So I would assume this is a great boozy brunch though I didn't partake. The food took a while, but the ambiance was nice enough that I wasn't mad about it, but when it did get there it was a little on the dull side. It was good, but unexciting. I got the prosciutto and white truffle oil crepe. The crepe itself was solid and the white truffle oil was good, garlicky, but the dish as a whole just didn't wow me for the price (19 bucks I think). Maybe with some carnalized onions it would pop a little more. The wife got the katsu pork sandwich which was also fine. Again if it weren't expensive I would have been more impressed but the pork katsu was a little thin and under seasoned whereas the sauce was fine but really had to carry the dish. The fries were actually excellent so I should commend that. Overall, Pretty solid, great for ambience and booze, but the food was underwhelming for the price and took a good amount of time.

Just took my girlfriend's boy (10) there for lunch the other day. Frankly I am shocked at how much he loved the Truffle Mac and Cheese. We also got burgers which was not always a thing there. Their other food was always good... but I appreciated the burgers for feeding a young boy.All the food was very delicious and cooked well. The only downside to the place is that sometimes the hours open can be a little funky. I suggest calling ahead to make sure that they are open since it can vary depending on time of year and if the university is in session.

Stopped by on a Friday afternoon on our way to Ithaca, so glad we did. The outside is deceiving, appeared small and corporate like. When we stepped in?! We were greeted by a gorgeous bar and the smell of espresso. We dropped by for lunch and it was all I can think about ever since then. I had the Killer Burger and it was delicious. Perfect brioche bun and crispy yet fresh fries. Please stop here, you won’t regret it!! It’s been a while since I had a good burger at restaurant and The Shop reset my burger timer. No pics because I was face deep in that meal. Stop in, you won’t regret it

Love going to this place, especially when friends are home from out of town. Unfortunately, the last three times I’ve attempted to take them there, they’ve been closed over an hour before their posted closing time. Having had this happen multiple times before, I approached cautiously, saw people enjoying their fries through the window, and became very excited that the Shop was indeed open during its posted hours. That excitement was very short lived, however, when I approached the door, only to see CLOSED at 8:41 pm, when they are posted to close at 10:00pm. As someone who drove 25 minutes to come here, only for it to be closed for the third time, I’d ask that you please either honor the hours posted or be more upfront about the fact that you will not stick to those hours and advise customers to call ahead. The food is amazing for brunch, and the service sublime.

This place looks lovely and I would love to grab a drink there more often, but I frequently try to come around 8:30-8:45 and they are closed already despite saying they are open til 10pm ?

I came here for the Strawberry Banana Crepe. It was pretty good. I would come back to try the burgers because they looked good. The server was super lovely -- she was the perfect amount of coming over while not just making me uncomfortable and badgering me. She was so awesome.
