Business celebration that turned out abysmal One bartender = long line Cold appetizers swimming in grease 10 pm still waiting for dinner Got a ride home and went home hungry Thursday night football meant not watching upstairs I guess you don’t deserve to eat downstairs
Good place for friends to gather and eat ! We are arrived and our reservation was honored. We were assigned a table for eight. Our Waite person was simply delightful. Her name was Michelle. Handled the crew perfectly. Really attentive and made our stay enjoyable. The crab gumbo was delicious. Others enjoyed a hearty side salad. For mains many ordered catfish, rib combos etc. everyone was quite happy with their meals. The magician was a nice surprise. Definitely come back
We were at the early seating, New Year's Eve. For the "Irish Ball Drop", a brilliant idea that should be used by all the Irish pubs in the country. Bailey's was jammed. Great music, outstanding service, very good food. We had a couple grandkids with us and they got into it, dancing and visiting all over. What a night! And, I bet that Bailey's got a full house for the second shift, the midnight ball drop. We will surely be back, this is a great house, clean, friendly and welcoming.
Nice tasty dinner. BBQ ribs are my grandson's favorite. yours are quite good. Will visit again. Nice young lady serving us.
Awesome little coffee shop/ eatery.
Food is prepared really well and really tasty. Service is also good and if you like smoked ribs and real southern fried chicken this is the place to go. Don't forget the sweet potato fries and baked beans
When you get BBQ you expect to like certain dishes better than others but with a large group pretty much everything will be eaten. Not in this case. We ordered one of those big BBQ combo platters. Everyone loved the pulled pork and everyone hated the sausage. The ribs and sides were just OK. Normally with our group of friends the words leftovers doesn't exist, but there was food leftover because people just were not enjoying it. We ended up throwing out a lot because no one wanted to even take it home. Overall, not a great experience.
Gave it another last try this evening with takeout...still a big disappointment. It used to be so much better. The baby-backs were dry and tough and would have been almost inedible if I didn't slather some sauce on them. The fries are poor institutional frozen fries, very different from years past. It still is a decent value for the amount of food you get, but it seems that while this place used to 'never disappoint', now it 'always disappoints'.
Stopping for a cup of coffee and grabbed the Mediterranean breakfast flatbread....well both items were delish! But that flat bread is a must try. Def will be going back.
Since the “pros” were far fewer than the “cons” I’ll start with that. Our waitress Jenna, was helpful and what she didn’t know, she would go and ask someone and then come back to us. Also it was a nice evening to eat outside. That’s the 2 positives. The negatives are extensive. We tried to find a hostess to speak with, so we went upstairs and were told there’s a hostess outside. Back down the steps we went to the outside area. After waiting outside along with others trying to get a table, a young lady finally emerged and asked everyone their party count. Then she disappeared again and re-emerged about 5 - 10 minutes later totally befuddled as to who and where her parties were. She took us back up the stairs and lead us through the very loud dinning area to “the patio” (there were at least 6 open tables on the street level area). She was absolutely clueless as a hostess and needs a lot more training in how to great & seat people. We ordered a 4-meat platter for two people. Our sausage (1 piece) was hard and could barely be cut. As another reviewer said, it felt like plastic. The inside was dry, hard, and the meat was course and crumbled when it was cut. The brisket (4 slices) was dried out, hard to chew, and a devoid of any of the pink smoke ring, or juiciness one looks for in a good BBQ brisket. The pulled pork was chunks of meat and not really pulled at all. Ribs followed suit, dry and hard. Plate was completely with out any BBQ sauce for any of the meat choices which would have helped having something to dip these meats into. Not even a slice of bread to put the meats on either. The sides are a joke! Two of those small side bowls barley filled came out. We selected spicy collard greens, the spice was fine, but the greens were, once again, very hard and nothing like I’m used. I usually don’t have to cut them up into little pieces to enable me to eat them. The bourbon carrots were watered logged and waaaaay over cooked. We also added another side of their baked beans....amazingly, that side (for $5) was filled a little bit more, but the same small bowl. The side portions themselves didn’t even fill the bowls. I can’t figured out why if you order 2 dinners you would get 2 sides with EACH dinner, but when you get a platter for 2 you don’t get 4 sides ( the platter is about double the cost of two dinners). We came here with a desire to have a wonderful bbq dinner and left so disappointed about the entire experience. Now I know why the surrounding tables ordered sandwiches, wings and/or pizza.

We went to Bailey’s hearing what great Barbecue they served. Upon arriving, there was outdoor seating and indoor seating. After waiting around outside for 5 minutes, I went inside to see how you get seated. I was told to go outside where there was a hostess, after another wait a hostess finally showed up. She seemed clueless and out of sorts not knowing where to turn first. We were finally seated outdoors but on a patio through the inside dining room which was extremely loud and cacophonous . Thankfully the patio was a nice quiet roomy area. We were given the menu and special but you had to use your smartphone to shoot the qr photo in order to get the beverage list. We ordered the Sampler for two for the bbq which is what we went for. The sausage casing was hard and the insides were more like a meat crumble and tasteless. I liked the brisket which was 4 thick slices but not fall apart. 4 baby back Ribs were meaty but only cooked in sauce and not served with any extra sauce. And the pulled pork which was rhe best meat of all was very tasty but served in chunks. We also received 2 small sides which seems incongruous when you are having a platter for two. The greens were nicely spiced but hard and the bourbon carrots were good, but skimpy in portion. All in all I have had worse barbecue, but there have been a lot of places that are much better.
Have been to Baily's in the past but this recent evening visit on 6/22/21 the Cold Smoke Lump Crab cakes were totally disappointing to say the least. They were more like potato pancakes, mushy and bready, with out any texture or hint of carb. The only way there could have been any crab it had to be pureed. Horrible! When the waitress finally showed up at the end of meal I told her they were the worst lump crab cakes I ever had. She said you should had told me. I said you were not around and then she offered me a cheese cake or some other desert. After ordering 2 Lump Crab platters for $22.00 each you have to be kidding. The waitress said I told the kitchen staff about you meals- should be telling Paul Baily the owner. I said no thanks just bring the check. I never ask or expect something without paying but do expect a quality meal. What was once a great dish I will most likely never order again!
The food is awesome, the coffee is amazing but the staff is the best part!
