This is a very nice cozy restaurant. The staff was inviting and attentive. Took no time to be seated and was served warm tasty bread and butter to start off. The waiter took our order timely and made small talk which was nice. I ordered chicken Marsala with vegetables which was delightful to my taste buds. My significant other ordered the chicken Parmesan and he said it was made just right, the tomato sauce taste light fresh and flavorful like the waiter said it was made from their veggie garden. We ordered Expresso Martinis and Lychee Martinis that taste very good and made well which gave us a nice buzz. We are happy we found Oscar's Italian restaurant and plan to make our go to spot. It was a great experience and I like how personal I felt there. We got to meet the Owen/ Chef who took time to come out and greet us. The staff made our experience a very good one being assertive and on time with every thing making sure we was happy. Thank you Oscar's

Everything at Oscar's was wonderful. We had the clams oreganata, pasta with pancetta and peas in an Alfredo sauce and veal marsala. All of it was delicious and the servings are just right - not too big and not too small. The service was impeccable. Our waiter was very attentive and very pleasant to deal with. We will, definitely, be back.

Went for mother's day, wonderful unassuming spot, that you probably wouldnt think twice about stopping, but a hidden treasure, dont miss it.

We had a delightfully spicy Shrimp Fra Diavolo and a delicious Veal Saltimbocca. The service was efficient. Sadly, there were no other diners in the restaurant. More people should give Oscar's a try.

This was our first visit to Oscar's and it won't be our last. We went on a Thursday evening during restaurant week. It was not crowded and thus the noise level was really low (always a plus). The service staff was incredibly attentive, friendly and professional. The food was wonderful. We ordered off the Restaurant Week menu: pappardalle with shrimp and lobster as the main course, a seafood empanada and scallops wrapped in prosciutto as appetizers and tiramisu and cannoli for dessert. All excellent choices.

The bartender was nice and the food is decent but I will never pay $22.00 for a small salad again. It’s a shame, I was very disappointed.

The homemade pappardelle with mixed mushrooms and garlic oil sauce was a standout pasta dish at Oscar's. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and the mushrooms added a delicious earthy flavor. 100% recommend, everything was beyond delightful! Will be back for more!

I was feeling a bit under the weather, and Oscar's chicken soup was just what the doctor ordered. It was warm and hearty and had that homemade feel to it. I felt better after just one spoonful.

The linguine frutti di mare at Oscar's was a seafood lover's dream. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the clams, lobster tail, calamari, mussels, and shrimp were cooked just right. I can't wait to have it again.

For an upscale elegant restaurant, food was very plain. Scallops arrived room temperature and had to be sent back. Fish meal was a slab of fish with no vegetable or decoration/accompaniment on plate. Chocolate cake was a thin piece of cake with nothing to enhance—no swirls of chocolate sauce, no dollop of whipped or ice cream. Didn't seem like restaurant cared very much to impress customers like when I dined there last Fall. However, restaurant was good at fulfilling requests for food modifications. Not many customers were dining there no doubt because of these factors—too bad because it used to be a shining jewel in Rockland.

My family has dined at Oscar's many times and will continue to go back. We always recommend it to others. The staff is very welcoming and friendly and the food is delicious. We have enjoyed every dish we ever tried. It's the perfect place for date night, dinner for families with children, or dinner with friends.

I had a surprise birthday party for my wife this past weekend. It was planned with short notice and Oscar and was more than accommodating. The room was perfect for the 40+ guestlist I invited. Daniel and the wait staff were spot on with the service and the entree choices were many. Everyone commented on how delicious their dishes were and on how responsive the wait staff were. The party packages were extremely reasonable and the rooms are nice and private. A perfect place to throw a party. I highly recommend this venue for future affairs. Johnny G. W. Nyack

Everything was perfect! We enjoyed delicious, unique cocktails before our meal. It was so pleasant to chat normally and be heard! The ambiance is lovey at Oscar's Restaurant! The service and food could not have been better. I feel it is important to keep the powder rooms clean, and there was no disappointment in this area either. We are looking forward to enjoining another beautiful evening at this restaurant!

My wife and I had dinner at Oscar's during Restaurant Week for her birthday. We had never been to Oscar's before. It was terrific in all respects. I had the Lobster Bisque, Veal Rollatini and Tiramasu. My wife had the Rolled Zucchini appetizer, the Shrimp/Lobster/Pasta main course and the Chocolate Cake. It was all absolutely delicious and the portions were plentiful. We took home enough for dinner the next night. And the martinis we each had were perfect too. Our waiter( Danny I think) was helpful, knowledgeable and flawless. He too was excellent in every respect. We will certainly return to Oscar's.
