Our first visit at Mary’s Diner was during Chicken wing run weekend at Sylvan Beach, which is a very busy time for the whole area. On the way, we drove past two other places, which had lines out the door. They were very busy as well, but we didn’t have to wait long. We received our food pretty quickly and it was delicious. I’d like to give “two thumbs up” to the young man who was seating people, taking orders, bringing out the food and clearing the tables as well afterwards. Your hard work didn’t go unnoticed🙂 Thank you

Here’s a great diner we hit on the way to go play McConnelsville country club. The staff was super friendly, the coffee was hot and frankly I had the best bacon I ever had ever had. At 9 on a Sunday it started getting pretty busy, so obviously this is a popular local joint. Swing by if you’re in the area, you won’t be disappointed.

One question, why have I not stopped here before? From the welcoming smiles to the delicious looking menu to the amazing food. We had a Belgium waffle, stuffed french toast and omelet. All were so delicious and filling! We will he back soon!!

this was the best diner experience we have had since we could remember. we were visiting the area from PA and came across the place. We have a 7 and a 5 year old and Despicable Me was on the TV when we walked in so we suddenly relaxed a little knowing it was so kid friendly.
Our server was outstanding. She was bubbly, she was efficient, she was personable. It was better service in this small town back road diner for breakfast than we've received in any style restaurant, including fine dining here in Pittsburgh for a long time. We were blown away.
The food was perfect. The sear on that corn beef hash was killer.
The whole package was such a treat.

Meh . . . tried the sausage gravy and biscuits, sausage was way too spicy to be a breakfast item :-(

First time here for the two of us. We stopped by for breakfast on a weekday. Mary’s Diner is a hidden gem that I never knew existed. Breakfast was great, with generous portions. The server (owner?) was excellent and quick! The diner has both booths and bar stools. If there is ever a waiting time, I doubt anyone would have to wait for too long with the fast service they have. I would highly recommend this diner!

Talk about "off the beaten path", this place is pretty remote. If we stayed on the main roads we never would have stopped here. I'm really glad we didn't stay on the main Rd!

Very unassuming from the street. Inside is a quaint modern diner that has an old established feel. I loved everything about it.

Our waiter was fast and efficient, brought menus and took our drink orders almost as soon as we sat down. He waited until we were ready and once we set our menus down appeared and took our orders.

My breakfast guests had traditional eggs toast and meat breakfast. I opted for the Giambatta, an Italian version of what is called garbage plate in many diners. It tasted nearly identical to the dish my grandfather would cook decades ago. As a kid, we pronounced it Gham-bot, I was surprised to see it on the menu. Let me just say IT WAS GREAT! made even better by being delivered HOT from the kitchen. This ranks as one of the best breakfasts I've had on the road in years

Hats off to the folks at Mary's. One meal and I realized how you could be a success with such a remote location. Good job, I'll be back?
