My first visit. Service friendly and welcoming. Our waitress was genuinely nice and helpful. We will be returning. Great way to spend a few hours on a beautiful day.

My daughter and I went for lunch on Sunday after seeing the ad in the local paper. The restaurant settings made us feel like we were in a restaurant in the Caribbean. Outdoor, seating with loud country music.
It was a very disappointing experience. Wine served in a disposable glass, and disposable fork and knife.. I ordered the shrimp scampi. About 6 medium sized shrimp served over a gluey linguine. Not baked or sautéed. The starch tasted raw. After two bites I could not have more.
The waitress did not come back to check if all was fine.
My daughter decided to take my left overs home as she was paying a hefty $35.00 dollars for my meal.
She had scallops over Lobster risotto . It wasn't anything to write home about.
Disappointing food and service, .and overpriced..

The food was extremely good. The service was terrible. 45 min to get service. The not that many customers when we arrived.

Having a restaurant on the water should come with a lot of fun, a lot of good food, and great drinks. This place falls short of all that. From its no dog policy to its oddly crafted and small bites menu, I'm just not impressed with new ownership's approach to a "buoy bar" with a Florida Keys theme. The service is bland and there isn't any dock service for the several slips it has, even on a slow night. The drinks don't quite hit either. A swing and a miss. Just an extra star because the location is my favorite.

Atmosphere is amazing , waitress was great!!! But food was not good the only meal that was delicious was the fish and chips. Appetizers were decent and because of the atmosphere and staff with live music and only have a few appetizers.
The only other thing that annoyed me at the end and maybe that was my fault but when leaving there was a sign with specials, the menu is small and most of the people in our party would have gotten a special. They should have the special on a piece of paper and give with the menu. Also, they force you to use valet parking which then requires you to give a tip when it's not needed. Parking is right in their parking lot

Kid-friendliness: Nice area with sand kids can play in

What a great spot!!! The vibe here is amazing and the service is fantastic! Taylor went above and beyond and provided service that is hard to come by these days! The food was fantastic and they had live music which was awesome! The owner was so nice and I would highly recommend checking out Buoy 35!

This is a great place. You cannot beat the water views. We pulled up with our boat. The food was great. The Buoy burger is a gourmet masterpiece. The fries were golden and crispy. The drinks were a great value. Sangria and mojitos are fire. This was the old JTs. Blue Point is a gem of an area that most don't know if outside of the area. Go check them out. Tell em Barsnobs sent ya!

I'm visiting Long Island, New York, I'm in a wheelchair, have/need and travel with a service dog. The restaurant Bouy 35, in Blue Point refused me and my dog entry. (To out door seating). The owner would not talk with us but asked to see "Papers" to prove my dog’s legitimacy, through the hostess. When we tried to explain, the owner of the restaurant (conveyed through the hostess) still refused us entry, stating there are too many people that fake service dogs. Had the owner spoke with us, he would have seen that I didn’t just put a vest on my dog to fake his legitimacy so I can bring my dog with me like arm candy!
