Place is always busy so that's a positive thing for a restaurant. Wings are really good, Cavs combos another favorite but the Steak sandwich is awesome

Worst experience ever. Wait staff was too busy on phone and very inattentive. Order came out wrong and the fried chicken cutlet was dry and tasteless like it sat for a few days. Server never asked how things were etc like she couldn't be bothered. This is very surprising but maybe not as there was only one other couple eating there around 2:00 on a Sunday afternoon . Two other people sat down, had drinks and left before we did. Apparently not happy either. Definitely not worth the time or money. We had been a patron here for several years, but, would be hard pressed to visit cavanaugh's again.

Very disappointed when you hear great things about a restaurant and nothing is good about it. We went Thursday night to Cavanaugh's in Blue Point. Steaks were burnt not charred. Very small portions of over steamed vegetables with no flavor whatsoever. Very small portions overcooked frozen French fries. Unknowledgeable waitress. I was so hoping Cavanaugh's would be a regular monthly visit but Thursday was and will be our only visit

A lot service .very catering like first visit hasn't been there years.just kinda dark scared of not seeing something always like to see while eating in case something fell or shouldn't be in food
Had a bowl of chili, flavor good had to send back ,wasn't hot. Had the special marinated pork chops. Overcooked and dry. Had to send back the baked potato wasn't hot either was my side of broccoli.
