Where do I begin?!? Ohmygosh...I LOVE THIS LITTLE GEM! Sadly I only recently was introduced to JT's...but I've been there 3 times in the past 2 weeks, going today, Sunday, 9/4, and getting together with friends on Labor Day to have a last fling for the season...their closing for the season tomorrow. :(Great staff, excellent eats, drinks, atmosphere...I'll miss this little place when we move to GA.But I am introducing JT's to my friends today, and tomorrow...2 will be missing, many will take our places. Thanks for the wonderful memories guys. ❤️
There are two aspects to the experience. The lunch scene is chill and expensive($140 for 2 with tip). Night with music is great. Worst slaw ever, nice servers.
Nice outdoor dining on the water. Right across from Corey Beach. We started with mussels in a savory red sauce that included sausage slices and spices. Different than what I am used to but it was delicious with nice big mussels. It came with garlic bread to soak up the sauce. I had a seafood pasta with linguine. It was packed with shrimp, scallops, fish, and lobster meat. It was a huge dish. My wife had beer battered shrimp with onion rings. The shrimp were huge and the batter was really tasty. She loved it. The restaurant is very casual and the wait staff was excellent. Great for a date night and you can swim on the beach when you are done.
The outside atmosphere is really fantastic, especially on a nice summer evening. The food was incredible. Best baked clams I’ve had anywhere before, and the sea scallops were incredible (especially the cauliflower purée and little salad that it comes with). Only reason it’s getting 4 instead of 5 stars is I wish the portions were a little bit better, was only served 5 scallops and was still pretty hungry afterwards. I also tasted a bit of the Mahi Mahi that my mom had on her plate and that was excellent too. Will come again and will reccomend to others!
Sorry but 45$ is ridiculous for an OK lobster roll is a joke. Good spot otherwise nice view. Service is okay not great
if you enjoy over paying for truly subpar food this is your place to dine. yesterday, july 26th, four of us went here for lunch. my friend & i both had the beer battered cod sandwich. both sandwiches came with 2 pitifully small pieces of cod. his came with a spring mix salad. there was nothing on the greens, no tomato no onion nada. i asked for the Mediterranean orzo. it came in a half full 2 ounce paper cup. that was a blessing as the orzo was mush. my wife ordered a fried flounder sandwich. it was an anemic inetible , what seemed like a frozen piece of fish. she also had the orzo salad. lastly my friend's wife had field greens with grilled chicken. she liked the chicken but not the greens. we had calamari appetizer which was worth having. we each had 1 cocktail apiece. the bill w/o tip came to just over $168.00! service was good. unless you have to i would definitely pass on JT's.
We had the salmon Cesar salad and south shore Cobb salad. Both were delicious. Service from the servers is very good and bar staff service is also very good. The view is worth the trip to sit out on a beautiful sunny summer day.
The good…Great water views & service. My wife enjoyed her sliced steak hero. My cod sandwich, not so much. Roll has way too much bread to get a good blend of flavors. The check was also confusing with a note indicating 3.99% will be added for cash. I asked for a clarification & was told I’d get a corrected check, but was given the same check. I’m assuming 3.99% is added for credit not cash.
Spun the Sunday dinner roulette wheel and JT'S was chosen. A real beachcomber place with a local flavor of characters from a 70's time machine. We decided on appetizers and chose the crab ca kes ,fish tacos, calamari, oysters and topped it off with a cheese burger. Each choice was on point. The bartender Colin was fantastic and based on the steady stream of thirsty customers coming in waves, he banged it out. Parking is sketchy so have patience. If your looking for casual not tablecloth treatment, this place is for you.
The jumbo crab cake was a bit on the smaller side but it was delicious. The drinks were pretty good and the place had a nice atmosphere. Would go again!

Went on sunday may 29 No so happy. Took about 15 min to get out first drink. Sat at the end of the bar its like the dead zone. Bartenders never came there. The bartenders where the worse. If it wasn't for the red headed bar back we would have never gotten the drink or food. He should have been the bartender. Thanks to him we got servered will never return. Wasnt worth the money I spend do to service. Management need to be more present ti see that customers get helped.
This place was underwhelming and disappointing. Granted they were busy but at the bar it shouldn't be 45mins just to be greeted. We ordered as soon as the extremely nice bartender greeted us (the only positive) and it took another hour for food to arrive. We ordered fish tacos and mussels. The fish was cooked to the point that it was charred black, it was dry and hard as a rock. Mussels were not good as most shells were closed, and sauce was the wrong type. Will not be back.
They only open seasonal but never updated website so I check out the website n make a reservation n got confirmation n it went through but when we got there it closed till summer
If u are seasonal restaurant make it clean on ur website I didn't know till I make a reservation n show up it closed
So delicious fresh seafood on the water one of my favorite summer spots. Boats even come up to the dock to pick up takeout. Parking is a bit hard but it's worth it.
