I was very excited about our 7:30 pm reservations with my family. I noticed google review had 4.3 stars but the people who reviewed this establishment must of gave 5 stars to White Castle!! On our arrival we noticed for a Saturday night the restaurant was half full. The hostess proceeded to sit us at a 4 top in the busiest part of the restaurant. We ordered mussels for an appetizer which took at least 20 minutes so we thought WOW this must be worth the wait . When the mussels arrived, half were unopened and the broth had no flavor at all. We knew then we were in trouble. After waiting yet another half an hour our entrees finally came out. My wife ordered the special, steamed Seaford Platter that was recommended by the waiter. I ordered Veal Sinatra and my son ordered Surf and Turf. The Veal Sinatra looked like a bad Chinese take out dish ,soupy and the veal was tough. Surf and Turf came with planko buttered lobster with no lobster shell steak and was undercooked. The Steamed Seaford Platter was the worst. ENTIRE DISH WAS COVERED IN THE SAME PLANKO AND BUTTER SAUCE.Red snapper was heavenly covered with buttered planko. When I cut into the Snapper the fish did not flake which told me it was at least 2 weeks old . The scollops were not scollops they looked like they were punched out from skate wings. These entries were over $50.00 each . The owner and chef should be ashamed for putting out such poor quality food. If u dine at this restaurant make sure u bring a portable potty in your vehicle because this food will go right through you!! Not quality food for what they are charging.

Our first visit celebrating my wife's birthday began at the bar. Noticing how beautiful the atmosphere was, we decided on a drink before dinner. We were greeted warmly by the bartender who recommended and made us 2 wonderful drinks. We were then escorted to our seats by the fireplace. The decor warm and beautiful, both the chandelier and fireplace added a wonderful touch. Our waiter Angel, was wonderful! He was totally attententive, and provided outstanding service. From the appetizers, main course and the celebratory birthday cake for my wife was outstanding. The food was not only delicious, but the portions generous. Cannot wait for our leftovers tonight.
We will definitely return and we have already begun to tell our friends about this wonderful restaurant.

This was our second time here and both experiences were excellent. My daughter's boyfriend ordered chicken Parmesan with olive vodka sauce and it came out with regular marinara and he was fine with that but the waiter brought him an additional tray of food with the vodka sauce and said he would just send us home with the marinara sauce... above and beyond Drinks were great desserts were great. I can't say anything but great things about this place.

What can I say except that we had another exceptional meal at Stella Trattoria and Bar? Our guests enjoyed their meals so very much as we did too! From the Caesar Salads, Broccoli Di Rabe, Calamari Fritti Arrabbiata, to the Penne Alla Vodka, Cavatelli Bolognese and Chicken Capricciosa all so good. It is wonderful that you can replace breaded chicken breasts with broiled when a request is made, and serve eggplant without cheese. That is really appreciated. Alex, our server, was excellent. Everyone at Stella is excellent. Thank you for making it another wonderful special occasion with friends. Looking forward to our next visit.

We love Stella's . Good food over all . The only complaint from our group was the big salad had too much vinegar. I was fine with it myself. All in all I will be dining at Stella's with friends or with my husband for any occasion.

We come here quite often as it's very close by, and the food is always good and consistent. This particular occasion was our 32nd wedding anniversary and the waiter, who we know from our many previous visits, was talking to us about our wedding and what our wedding song was. We actually had two. At the end of the meal, and very unexpectedly, the waiter had both of our wedding songs playing through the sound system. Simply amazing and thoughtful. Actually brought my wife to tears. You can't beat a place that offers this kind of service.

First time here. Fixed up nice. Drinks on the expensive side. Ordered Caesar salad. Way to much dressing. Chicken francese was tasty but sauce very watery. Tried to order dessert but out of tartufo and lava cake. Service was good.

There for a Baby Shower. The staff was presentable and courteous. On top of what ever was needed. Food was great, shrimp, chicken cooked just right. Veggies too. Cocktails were awesome. Looked to me like everyone at this affair had a wonderful time. Dessert was perfect. Definitely would go another time. We were happy with everything.
