The Mad Batter Tea Room & Restaurant

My daughter hosted a luncheon for my birthday today everything was great, the food was, service , I have been here before and love it.

My sister took me for my 50th birthday on Friday August 1st. I could not of asked for a more beautiful atmosphere to spend quality time with her wearing funny hats. We both ordered the 2 tier towers with the pot of tea. The tea was delicious and the finger foods were absolutely yummy. I was so full I had to take some of the sweets home because there was a generous amount of food on those towers. Our waitress was so sweet and attentive. The owner came over to us to make sure everything was going well. Once they found out it was my birthday, they surprised me with Neapolitan gelato complete with candle and asked the dining room to sign happy birthday. They also placed this adorable little battery operated canvas next to the ice cream which was a birthday cupcake with a candle in it that flickered like a real candle. It was such a cute touch. We both loved our experience here. I will definitely be bringing my husband back. Thanks for a wonderful birthday Mad Batter Tea Room. P.S. The bathrooms are also beautiful. lol.

Really beautiful place. We made a reservation and basically had the whole place to yourselves. The sandwiches and tea were delicious. The waitress couldn’t have been more helpful with recommendations and offering to take photos. Definitely will be back

Amazing food! We had the mozzarella sticks, Caesar salad with chicken tenders & the brownie sundae for dessert & it was so good! The place is so cute & quint. The staff was incredibly sweet. Absolutely will be coming back!

I really enjoyed my day at the tea room. There was excellent service. The food was delicious. I’m i’m considering hosting my daughter‘s bridal shower soon. I highly recommend this place.

So my girlfriend and I traveled from Bayside Queens (1 1/2 hours) to try Mad Batter. We were unable to make reservations as they are closed Monday & Tuesday.
They choose not to have ReserveATable.
Here it is Wednesday at 12:10pm.
The front door is locked, there are no lights on inside and the phone is going to voice mail.
Another group of 4 arrives and is as dumbfounded and as disappointed as we are.
This is absolutely no way to run a business.
Most bizarre, their posting went from
Closed to Open at the
strike of noon?
I would not recommend a business that is so unreliable and cares so little about their customers.
It was close to 90 degrees that day, we all waited until 12:15 and gave up.

My niece had her bridal shower today 7/12/25. The place was like a home feeling such a beautiful place, I enjoyed myself they make you feel so comfortable you don’t want to leave. The staff just beautiful they’re not all in the way they definitely give you space to just relax enjoy your family. The food is just right for a tea party everything was fresh, my favorite sandwich was the tuna & spicy mayo with roast beef, the tray was beautifully put together. I have nothing negative to say please book with them you definitely won’t be disappointed.

The cutest tea room I've ever seen. Decor is incredible, food was delicious! Tons of options of flavored tea. Had lunch here with my daughter but could definitely have a shower or party here. Absolutely recommend!
