I've been coming to this place for about 7 years and their empanadas do not disappoint and thats for sure! After going here for so long when I try empanadas at other hispanic locations they do not bring the same taste to the table. This place never gets old nor how many times I come with my mom or take my hispanic girlfriend here. Highly recommend ??Kid-friendliness: They have a ping pong table ?

Ordered the crunch wrap and it was unusually greasy. Also, the meat did not taste fresh. It is very disappointing because they are normally pretty good. Needless to say, we are both sick after eating there today.

I had to double check that this was the correct place I was reviewing because of all the great reviews posted about this place. We were so excited to try this restaurant because of the almost 5 stars it had. I told my husband order a couple of different thing so we could try them. My mom ordered the Cuban sandwich, she hasn't had in since the 90's at the la cubanita in Brentwood where they were made perfectly. This half a "real Cuban sandwich " was not good at all. The empanadas were overcooked and definitely not fresh. The beef and onions tasted like pure onion. Just like Lipton onion soup mix. He ordered some type of meat with red peppers, weird flavor. We literally threw out almost everything.

First time having the pleasure of eating here was this morning. I ordered the Steak, Egg & Cheese Arepa as well as the Chipotle Chicken & Hot Chorizo Empanadas. Breakfast was so good, we'll be back for lunch to try more empanadas. They offer 50 flavors, you kidding me! And for real, I think arepa is my new favorite food because of this place. The woman behind the counter was so welcoming, I hope I'm working in this area more often. If you aren't rating this 5 stars, we'd like to have a word with you... **update went back for lunch - went with the Chicken Alfredo, Beef & Potato, Steak Jack and Oreo empanadas - will be back asap Check out The Oven Podcast to see where else we eat, hangout and enjoy some good conversation with some even better guests! www.theovenpod.com

Flavor options are amazing. This place can cook anything you can come up with and you must try the cuban sandwich, chicken alfredo empanada and churros. I've been going here for around 10 years and the holiday empanada flavors are always something to look forward to. Try beating the owner at ping pong and you get a free empanada.

I buy 100 empanadas for my birthday here every year.

This is owned by our neighbors, so we checked it out..the empanadas are the best I've tasted. They have a huge menu of different flavors..I need to try the Cuban sandwich..the pork in a plate I ordered was delicious

5 plus plus plus Top Empinadas on Long Island! Excellent service! Highly Highly recommended! Very reasonably priced! I let the owner pick me 5 of his favorites! Soooooo good! There are tons of choices from traditional fillings to "outside the box" fillings like Chicken Pot Pie. My 5 were totally top notch! I can see them being assembled and made in the back, which is a neat, clean, and efficient kitchen. I would consider and recommending ordering 100 or more to go or for catering an event. You wont find a better empanada on Long Island unless your Noni is at home in your kitchen making her secret family recipe!
