Governor's @ McGuire's Comedy Club

Been here about a dozen x's! Always have great nights of comedy at Governors in Levittown, Bellmore and Bohemia locations. Tickets are reasonable and easy to obtain. Parking is always free! You can't go wrong coming here. Food/drinks has always been very reasonable, & decent. The waitresses are always nice. The entire staff has always been polite and welcome us at the doors! Which is why I am So happy to support our local business.

Only black family there other than the host on a sold out nite. But it was a good show, great hostesses, relax crowd and good vibz. Really enjoy nite out with my sons

Great place to see a comic. It's a little packed in and it's a crapshoot if you get a nice waitress or not. (Ours was terrible) but I'd definitely go back.

We placed our order for dinner almost 2 hours ago, and haven't even gotten our appetizers yet. Hard to enjoy a comedy show when you are this hungry. Annoyed to the point that I am leaving a negative Google review rather than watching the show. This sucks. If I wasn't here with a group, I'd walk out. Horrible service. I will not be returning here. Placed my order at 6:03pm. It's 7:38pm and not even an appetizer
Very disappointed.

UPDATE: It's now been over 2 hours, and 1 appetizer has come out. 4 guests, 4 appetizers and dinners, and in 2 hours all that has come out is one appetizer. Horrible experience.

2ND UPDATE: 2 1/2 hours no food. Was probably a good comedy show, but impossible to enjoy when you wait for dinner for 2.5 hours. Horrible experience. I'll never be coming back again.

Came here on Saturday night 3/1 with a singles group. Not only were the comedians not funny the one that was hosting was so condescending to our group saying that all we prayed for was to get laid. It was the worst comedy show I have ever been to. There wasn’t a chuckle in the entire room.

Had an event scheduled and booked for a Sunday, the called me the Thursday before and canceled the event, Andrea, the woman I spoke to was incompetent and very nasty, she couldn't understand why I was upset, and when I tried to explain to her, she just talked over me and kept raising her voice, wouldn't give a refund or any kind of a resolution. They were complete unprofessional and I would ever recommend them or ever book an event with them, Worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Always a great time, lots of laughs and getting to interact with the comedians after the show is very cool.

I’ve been to Maguire’s at least four or five times a year for the last few years. Whenever I leave, the comedians are very nice and they’ll take pictures with you. Fortunately, I was able to get my picture with Gilbert Godfrey a couple of years ago. The other day I had a misunderstanding about The promo code in buying tickets and I got mad and I wrote a bad review. It was mostly the employee that I had called that got me so riled up. But I wanna say that I’ve been going to this comedy club for a long time and it’s a great night out. It’s funny. The people are nice. It’s a good escape and if there’s ever a problem, the owner and the manager are very hands-on and they take care of it so this review is to say what a good place it is and to apologize for giving them a bad review one day cause I didn’t like one of their employees in the office. Their waitresses and bartenders and everybody is very nice so if you get a chance, check it out well worth it. And if you For no money, they will send you complementary tickets every once in a while through your email. As Jafar would say there were diamond in the rough.

Great comedy club. The door fee is very reasonable. Must purchase 1 meal on the menu to sit. Food is average, nothing fancy but not bad. Burgers, fries. Etc. Not there for the food but the comedy. This place shines with its comedians. Worth the visit

The comedy club was fun. The headliner was funny. The food.....meh. I got French onion soup... two of us agreed it was horrible. No idea what kind of cheese but it was yucky. Also the food was expensive IMO. eat elsewhere if you want quality food. I'm sure the fried food is fine...but did not try.

Excellent had so much fun

Great comedy club, decent food, on our most recent visit we experienced poor service. Not bad enough to seek out the manager, but disappointing that we were not treated properly by our server.

Great comedians, excellent service, and delicious food every time!
