I've made a mistake by giving this place another chance

The egg sandwich that I got today. And I have gotten for the past continually has barely anything on it

I asked for 3 egg whites and the amount of eggs I got was equal to or less than one slice of american cheese

I had to put the contents from the sandwich all on one half, and it was still thin

For 9 dollars this is an absolute joke

Good thing Their location hasn't many. Hardworking people in the industrial area to use them out of ease

Extremely frustrating for a business that services mainly blue collar workers

Food is always good but inconsistent. I'll order something once, like it and order it again and next time and it's totally different. I wish they would stick to the menu a little better because I do read the ingredients before I order something.

I initially gave Foodie Shack a 4-star review because of their clean environment, friendly staff, and decent food. However, my recent experience has completely changed my perspective. After placing an order through DoorDash, I discovered an extra charge for “2 eggs” added three hours after my initial purchase. This felt highly suspicious and unprofessional.

On top of that, they got my order wrong again, which has become a pattern with this place. While I understand mistakes happen, adding an unexplained charge afterward crosses a line. The fact that they’re able to use my payment information from DoorDash to charge me later without notice feels fraudulent and completely unacceptable.

At this point, besides their coffee, the food is just alright—not worth the hassle or mistrust. I’ve lowered my review to 2 stars, as this experience has left a bad taste. Businesses should prioritize transparency and accountability, and unfortunately, Foodie Shack missed the mark.

This review is from back when they were still associated with 'The Garage' brand. I assume they cut ties because of their low quality. Since they rebranded the review is gone, so I am reposting it in order to warn people. I come here all the time--it's a quick drive from where I work and the food is pretty great. That said, I'm afraid the service is just absolutely horrible. It's usually very busy in there around rush hour--understandable, but the way they handle it is outrageous. On two separate occasions, I've asked for a panini, and they never get around to telling the 'guy on grill' (he's right there..) to make one. I'm waiting twenty minutes before I mention I'm waiting for my food, and they realize they haven't even started making it. All I got were a bunch of apologies, and a $5 gift card once. This latest time, I was ordering for myself and one other person(who gave me money), so i paid for their sandwich first, but had a soda in my hand. The lady at the register starts giving me attitude telling me I have to purchase it--or it stays there until I do. There's a whole fridge full of them, and plenty of people are holding drinks in their hands...so I decided not to get it, didn't appreciate the attitude. You don't treat a customer like that. Like a thief. The food is good here, but the staff is absolutely horrible. I would suggest going to a different deli in the area. There are plenty.

Had the Brooklyn pastrami sandwich today. It was delicious!

I tried to call but no voicemail. 2 heroes. I told the girl EXACTLY what I wanted. No where was may mentioned at all. IN ADDITION barely any meat, meat not shredded as requested, barely any Lettuce and tomato and over loaded with Mayo, which again was never requested! Each hero 12 bucks. Since you close so early couldn't speak to anyone. This is my message...expect my call for a full refund. Disgusting!

UPDATE: I want to change my review. I spoke to the woman who took my order, and she, too, didn't understand how Mayo came into play. Maybe whomever made my sandwich thought it needed mayo. Who knows...Anyway, she was very apologetic and didn't hesitate to offer me a refund or 2 new heroes. We chose new heroes. The hero is that good. Shredded ham, salami, mild provolone, Lettuce, tomatoes and Italian dressing (on the side so the bread doesn't get soggy) delicious! My husband and I highly recommend it! Ty for correcting :)

Went in for breakfast at 11:00am to see a whole counter full of hot food specials. It’s become my go to lunch spot for the past few months after that. Their different hot food each day is fantastic and a must try.

The absolute best spot to grab lunch! I have been eating here 2-3 times/week for over a year and they have the best sandwiches coupled with the best service. Everyone remembers your name and Leeann at the register is always ready with a joke and a smile. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
