Flatlander Deli at Awesome Country

Very cool place. We stopped on our way back from camping to get some food. My kids loved the place. Lots of different stuff from dips and sauces to maple candies. Baked goods. They had a hot buffett style meal when we went. There are rabbits out front the kids can play with. And the deli was good too if you are just looking for a sandwich. Will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

It is not a diner by any stretch - no wait staff per se, and they use paper plates and plastic forks BUT the food was really quite good and the gals that were working were friendly. It is a bakery and country store that has a deli counter - the store has a bunch of yummy baked goods and cool old timey stuff for the home.

I'm ready to move to Boonville just to be close to this store. Home-made food to eat in or take out. Very reasonable prices. A plethora of gift ideas, many are homemade.

The food was delicious. When we walked up and inside, there were so many things all over the place. There were delicious fudge bars and different flavored pickles as soon as we walked in. There were a lot of souvenirs of all kinds inside and outside of the store. It's a bit too much for my taste.

Excellent sandwiches, and service. Are there more than anywhere else while on vacation in the area. Unfortunately, they were eaten too fast each time, and photos were not taken. A true gem!

Great destination, always drop in on my way to Utica! Gobs of garlic spice marinades, home baked everything. Boars head deli. Specialty candy and goodies to take home. FAB home and garden stuff.
