My wife and I stumbled upon this total gem in hamburg. The staff were so friendly and committed to detail. The restaurant atmosphere is warm and inviting. As for the food. Top notch! Everything was excellent from the hot bread and dipping oil,the home made cranberry salad dressing our main courses were superb! We will be going back!

I’ve been meaning to try this place since moving to the area 3 years ago and hearing rave reviews. I ordered takeout tonight and I have no idea how anyone could willingly eat there, because I wouldn’t if I was paid to. I ordered fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and the chicken was white like it was boiled. Not a lick of flavor to it. There wasn’t enough Alfredo to even cover the noodles. The soup that comes with it was enough to fill about a half inch of a pint container. Literally the only good thing I have to say about this place is that the food was hot. I’d give zero stars if I could.

Have enjoyed Raphael's a few times now and we'll be back again soon. Food is fantastic, service is very personal and the restaurant itself is very comfortable. Place is a little bit of a throwback. There's no feeling of, they're just turning tables. Settle in, have a great meal and enjoy a bottle of reasonably priced Italian wine. As good a dish of EGGPLANT PARM as you'll find anywhere, in any city. The chef is the owner and will often visit you at your table. Big fan.

After a visit to the Hamburg Fairgrounds my friend and I decided to have dinner in the area. She wanted Italian food, and Google returned Raphael's as being very near to our location! it was an excellent choice, from service to the delicious food! Our waitress was awesome! She checked in us regularly to see if we needed anything, and helped us narrow done our selections from a menu that is full of awesome choices! The owner came out to greet us, along with another nice gentleman who welcomed us with cheer! I had the Sicilian Spaghetti (Raphael's signature dish) and my friend had Chicken Florentine. You can't go wrong with either choice! We also enjoyed a cup of Pasta Fagioli soup. Everything was made from scratch! Truly authentic Italian cuisine! Generous portions too! If you're in the Hamburg area and have the taste for Italian food, I highly recommend this restaurant!

The food was excellent. Eggplant parm very well done. An item not easy to find in the area, TRIPE, was available and served very hot in an excellent sauce with a side of pasta. Many tasty menu options. Everything about the place was authentic.

We never even got to eat. We saw the numerous ads and decided to head up there from BATAVIA. We are 3 adults, one elderly walker user, and a motorized wheelchair user. We get to the establishment and there is NO HANDICAP ACCESS. This is unacceptable, and I thought illegal. We ended up going to Boston Crab and Clam shack and had an amazing experience and phenomenal service.Note to Raphael's, when individuals are disabled, they already feel like a burden to others, and then not to be able to enter somewhere that everyone wants to try really kills a person's spirit. Do better and be inclusive.
Wheelchair accessibility: There was none. Which in NYS is illegal and I posted the act from the ADA approve.
Food was amazing! Everything homemade from scratch from the bread , soup, pasta and meatballs. Probably the best meatball I've ever had. The chef/owner stopped by every table as well. Not sure why there's not a line out the door. Great prices as well. Stop in and try it for yourself.
