We stayed here because we got caught in the rain storm on our motorcycles and there's nothing for 60 miles around. The room with a one king bed is $215 US

I'll tell you what you have for this amount.
A window mounted air conditioning that blows less than if I blew a candle and very cool.
It's mounted with duct tape and you can hear the traffic outside.
You have no fridge.
You have no microwave.
You get old steam whatever you call these things all over the room. At least to put your shoes on.
You get peeling paint, cracked walls and ceilings all over.
You have a s***** little breakfast in the morning that consists of mass produced disgusting muffins.
Wholesale Tangerines that tastes like paper.
The Keurig machine at least work.
I've stayed in mom and pop motel for $70 a night that were 10 times better than this.

My advice is that if you were around here and you need to sleep, drive an hour in any direction and find yourself something a hell of a lot better for 1/3 to 1/4 of the price.
If you have a lot of luggage like I've seen some of these car travelers, don't bother you have a total of two sets of stairs to climb up that are very steep and narrow and not recommended for people who have balance issues or are advanced and age.
I would prefer sleeping in my car after this experience if I drove a car, or keep going on my motorcycle and driving rain to find something better.

Again it's not even worth stopping. And the building on the outside is in such a bad need of TLC it's a shame. I know it's a heritage building, but for crying out loud bulldoze it down and build something better

We stopped in after not wanting to wait for BBQ. We are foodies from NYC and were so impressed with the quality of service, the historic building and the food. The menu is a mix of a chophouse with a large selection of chef selections from paella, pasta and schnitzel. The chef is a CIA graduate which is surprising to find in Central NY. The food was fresh and i noted that the chef makes his own bread, dressing, aioli's and desserts. It's clear the chef puts care into his work.

We ordered
- house salad - solid salad with house dressing. nice, nothing crazy
- onion soup, this was excellent. really well done, from the croutons, cheese and flavor. wow
- calamari - the only thing we didnt love
- chicken schnitzle - excellent, authentic
- scallops - fresh, perfectly cooked. a bit too sauced, but great
- creamy garlic and spinach pasta - our kids didnt love, but decent

The desserts were great as well. The restaurant was very accommodating to our casual attire and 3 young kids. Amazingly kind. The entire experience is a bit like going back in time, the historic nature of the setting is hard to explain, but you really feel it.

Rooms: They have a BnB above the restaurant

We made a reservation while we were driving home from Pennsylvania and were so pleased by our decision to stop her to celebrate being home. The appetizer platter features scrumptious clams casino, stuffed mushrooms and a crabcake. Service was superb and our entrees -- lobster pot pie and a wonderful seafood paella -- were exceptional. Lovely presentation, plenty of time to enjoy the company and the food, beautiful setting and wait staff that took care of every request. Perfection.

My wife and I were out for a drive and stopped here for dinner We felt underdressed but the staff did not make us feel unwelcome. The food was excellent We had appetizers and meals for a reasonable price. We will be back again, better dressed this time.

What an outstanding visit!! The room was exceptionally clean, what a charming family!! The restaurant was a five star in our opinion! This is probably one of the best kept secrets in New York State!! The chef IS a CIA (Culinary Institute of America) trained chef!!
