We went there around 7 pm, my husband ordered a medium oxtail and white rice, that was $20 and we got home, there were lots of bones and very little meat on the oxtail; I called and they just said I’m sorry and then the woman hung up on me. So rude. Never going back there again.

I ordered the oxtail from big taste cuisine. Very disappointed!! The white rice for the oxtail meal was old... extremely crunchy. The oxtail was very fatty!! My first time there and I won't be going back. Plus you advertised lunch special and when I arrive there. The young lady said you do not offer lunch special.

I knew this place was the real deal as soon as I saw the beef patty flake in my hands. It was delicious and so was my jerk chicken, peas and rice and cabbage. The chicken had the perfect spice - enough to clear my sinuses but not slow me down.
Door dashed some patties last night and they are now my new food obsession! The sorrel punch was sooo good! Ty guys! Will be there soon to try the dishes and I hope the curry chicken patty is brought back !!!

DON'T WASYE YOUR MONEY!!! In this review I will state FACTS only and not my opinions. I had the unfortunate opportunity to experience this Jamaican facility. I will Not refer to it as a restaurant because that it is NOT. 1. I walked in at 7:30pm Tuesday, June 4, 2024. There was No food in the window and I asked if they were closed. The young lady said no. 2. I asked the price of a small Oxtail the you lady said "15.00,". 3. I asked if they had stew chicken and the young lady said "yes". 4. I ended up ordering a small "JERK chicken and asked for no rice or plantain, only cabbage with gravy on the cabbage. 5. This cost me $10.00 When I got to my vehicle I noticed that the container was IcE cold. These SCUMBAGS sold me COLD food. The chicken was OLD and the food was cold. I went back in the "restaurant" and the young lady said " they close at nine and that take the food off the hot water. Lol The manager said she wouldn't give me my money back and "I should have noticed that the food was off the water to keep it hot and once you leave we can't give you your money back, but I can warm it up for you" Lol She went to warm up food that should have been hot in the first place. I walked out. Keep the money and keep your food and feed it to a DOG. Never AGAIN

DO NOT EAT HERE! THEY HAVE ROACHES. NOT TRYING TO BASH THE COMPANY, BUT I'VE SEEN MANY! They have the nerve to charge an arm and a leg for the food that they don't even cook fresh everyday and they have roaches? No, I don't think so.
Paid $17 plus tax for curry ox tail, peas and rice like 3sweet bananas and some cabbage. I think for that amount the food should be great. The food was horrible rice was dry no taste and looked like 2 days old ox tail had no curry in it. Terrible food and prices.??

People in the restaurant needs to get some training , this ain’t Jamaica dawg act like it . Went in there today , Saturday the 2nd around 1pm . Upon entering I said hello good afternoon to the lady behind the counter , she looked at me like I was lost and ignored me . I ordered me some curry goat and rice . No gloves whatsoever, her finger was touching the rice and such then boom she cashed me out handling money . Bro , it’s not that hard to use some gloves . FOOD IS VERY GOOD I CANT TAKE THAT AWAY . Crazy how employees can really bring a good business down . Won’t catch me or my friends there no more, best believe that .

It's definitely not the best food I've ever had as a brooklynite i use to several restaurants making great jamaican food. I try my best to support local, especially black owned businesses. However, this place just ain't it.I've learned to only purchase certain things here. Their soup, porridge, and breafast are pretty good. But their food ? Let's start with brown stew chicken. Why is the color of the gravy so black? It's called brown stew chicken, not black stew chicken, they put too much browning. Curry chicken was overcooked fish over fried. Beef patty lord, that's not only meat. it's mixed with something else. Plus, they skimp on everything. The new restaurant on suffolk is a bit better but not by much
