Today I ordered three hero size sandwiches:1 egg salad hero (JUST egg salad) = $14.50Chicken cutlet, Swiss, pesto= $16.99Chicken cutlet, bacon, American cheese, mayo= $16.99 (they forgot the cheese anyway, had to add it at home)Total of $48.48 for THREE SANDWICHES. Absolutely ridiculous prices. I usually pay HALF those prices for the same exact sandwiches at other local delis like Rose Hill (in thornwood), zuccarellis (in Eastchester) and Frank and Joes (pleasantville). Whats even worse is I came here about a week ago and each of those sandwiches was about $1-2 dollars less. Still overpriced, but when I asked today why it had suddenly gone up, the guy basically just acted like I was wrong and they hadn't changedSuper disappointing. Will not be returning simply because it is completely unaffordable.

I have been a patron of Janniello's for the past 20 years. My husband and I decided to host a cousins reunion ... 10 of us. I asked Vinny if he knew of someone to come to my home and cook for us. I wanted to enjoy the company. Vinny responded that he would gladly cook, and it was exceptional.! I can't thank Vinny enough. He visited our home prior and planned menu. Came with all the food and supplies .. served and went the extra mile cleaning up before he left. His delicious hors d'oeuvres , main course and dessert were superb. Thank you Janniellos for making our reunion so memorable.

I saw some of the reviews and I believe that this place is over priced, and at times are out of certain meats, like roost beef, and other items. I prefer Rocky's deli in Millwood, they got great wedges that are packed with roost beef, or if you like a great bacon egg and cheese sandwich, they have the best around. They were voted one of best deli's for having the tastiest bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches in westchester.There Italian combo is really good too! The service is great and they take care of you right away! They never run out of meats or other popular foods.

We used Janiello's for my baby shower and they did not disappoint! we ordered sandwiches (the turkey sandwich on the pretzel roll, chicken cutlet, italian combo and a veggie option) and salad (portofino), all the guests complimented the food! They were great at helping decide how much of each option we needed, the order was ready at the pickup time and the food stayed fresh - we had leftovers and kept enjoying them for a few days!

Extensive selection of high quality fresh fish and seafood as well as prepared salads, italian cheeses, olives, and breads plus sandwiches made to order. I was in a bit of panic with last minute guests arriving for lunch in less than an hour. Janniello's to the rescue! Picked up beautiful cooked shrimp and cocktail sauce, beet salad with mandarin oranges and goat cheese, bright green grilled asparagus (shaved some Parmesan for extra deliciousness), creamy fresh ricotta for crackers with honey and red pepper, kale salad with walnuts and voila, a delicious and colorful buffet for a Saturday lunch al fresco. The owner/operator is a lovely person who clearly cares about community and quality. So glad to have this gem in Briarcliff/Ossining! p.s. tiramisu + cannoli!.

I was having a really bad day and the Italian sandwich completely turned my day around. Long story short, a trip upstate turned into a trip to the mechanic and waiting for a tow landed us across from this deli. We were hungry and disappointed but the gentleman at the deli was so friendly and welcoming and the sandwich blew my mind. Fresh bread with the perfect crunchy crust and soft interior sprinkled with sesame seeds and the layers of meat and cheese was truly a work of art. I wish I’d taken photos. The thinnest most perfect layer of fried eggplant, crunchy lettuce, just... chef’s kiss.My bf doesn’t like eggplant and can’t each cheese and even his version without was stellar.

Very expensive and I got charged a customer service fee of $1.00? The guy should have said there would be an extra fee, for what??That is really shady that he charged me a service fee. I will not return.

The food from Vinny is exceptional and the service first class. His meats and seafood are always fresh and tasty. The sandwiches are great also. Highly recommended.

Been a few times and it's mostly just an overpriced Acme.$28.99 for sole? How can that be. Other cooked items are usually lacking flavor and other than it being a different place to go to it's nothing special. Owner isn't particularly friendly.
