I typically avoid leaving bad reviews, but unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. I called 40 minutes in advance to place an order, and the staff did not ask for payment over the phone. When I arrived to pick up my order, it was not ready. The waitress informed me that I would need to wait an additional 20 minutes for the food.
When I asked her why I had to wait, given that the entire purpose of placing the order over the phone was to avoid waiting, she replied that those were the rules. In the end, I had to wait an extra 40 minutes.

The food is delicious but if you are going to order something to take out and there is only one person at the bar when ordering, it would take a few since everyone else are either “pre-occupied” or as I experienced, ignoring. And make sure the tip is acceptable otherwise the looks you will receive are to dye for! 🤦♀️

Went inside yesterday there were 3 waiters none of them said hello nor give us a table to sit .mind you there were only 2 tables in use. After 10 minutes we decide to sit down in any table 25 minutes pass none of them comes to our table. I proceed to look at the reviews online and i am surprised they even have 3 stars. People complain about the service constantly and the food had insects?!!! From there i knew we had to leave.

My family and I went here for Mother’s Day. In fact was my first Mother’s Day. Was pretty busy and even though we had my baby we decided to stay. Waited long for our food which was no problem BUT when the food got to us it came out with COCKROACHES! They were flying out of two of the plates, so was disgusting! My husband didn’t want me to complain but the manager and waiters didn’t even made it a big deal!! Was so humiliating the way they’re treated us! We didn’t make an scene on how AWFUL this event was but I will ant to make sure you know that your food may be contaminated and how awful we didn’t even get an I’m sorry or how to accommodate by the manage of this place. We even paid the full bill because we didn’t want to make it a big deal but it was a big deal for me because of this event my dinner was ruined and I hope you reader understands how disgusted I feel. The people next to us told the manager how the cockroaches flew off our plates and yet we were treated like we were just annoying him. Not cool! Totally disgusting.

The Chicken, rice and beans, salad, tostones and sangrias are pretty good. The male waiter and owner are awesome. He is very professional, although he’s multitasking, he never has me waiting long and he never adds 18% tip (automatically) for one person like the females have done to me. He deserves 30% for his professional service.

I went a couple of times bc it’s in my neighborhood but won’t give it another chance. The staff are unfriendly ignorant people, the inside of the restaurant looks like a very basic un-inviting take out place and the food, especially the meat dishes, are mediocre at best. I don’t understand how they can still be in business other than there isn’t much competition in the neighborhood-limited amount of restaurants!

I ordered via delivery for the first time here after a year eating in person when I received the delivery I check the bag there were absolutely no utensils nor napkins, so I call the restaurant and was informed by the young lady we only provide it if the customer asks for it

Wonderful experience overall. The food is delicious. Papa RELLENA amazing, approved by my father and our large party. Everything was great.
I went for a birthday dinner with family this weekend. We really enjoyed the food, drinks and music. The restaurant was recently renovated and expanded giving it a more modern, inviting atmosphere. The expansion gives the restaurant more of an open concept feel and they also added a new full bar. I highly recommend it!

We celebrated my niece's birthday. The hospitality was great! The food was immaculate. Every dish was delicious and on point! The papa rellena was crispy and flavored. The ceviche , the Lomo and the Jalea we ordered was delicious! We'll be coming back!
