I called Hado to place an order for the first time and had a question about the menu. I was interested in some of the entrées, but the person taking the order was very unprofessional and rude. The call was hung up on me because they said they were very busy on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at around 7:30 PM. When I called back, the staff was extremely disrespectful and showed no care for new customers at all.
I don’t recommend this place. After reading some of the other reviews, it’s clear this isn’t the only incident they’ve had with customers. They clearly don’t have the right attitude toward customer service. This place has terrible service and doesn’t treat people well.

If you are a lone traveler landed at JFK, you’d find this place a satisfying first stop. No loud music, clean, and just the right amount of social interaction or disruption needed. The chef serves you good food and leave you alone to enjoy it. Perfect. I just needed this type of peace after long flight. The food is impeccable. The miso soup would warm your stomach as a starter. Every Asian would relate. I had Japanese food box vegetarian version. The tofu, the veggies, and the egg-fried rice? Nice.

Absolutely disgusting place and disgusting owner. I ordered kani salad as one of my appetizers and didn’t like it. I took one bite and asked politely if they can take it off the bill since I won’t be eating it. The owner went off on me saying he can’t take it off the bill because I tried it, well how else does a person know if they like something ?? They have to try it. He was so rude and disgusting and took the salad away and charged me for it. Will not be going back there

super yummy and great place! i got an avocado salad, a miso soup, and a cucumber avocado roll and it came out to around $19 with tax! good price and great service. they are super kind and fast too! loved it. would absolutely come back!! as a vegetarian, this place had everything i needed! ❤️

I've only gone past the door to pick up my order then back home to scarf it down. My friends and I love this spot. After almost 3 years we've narrowed down our absolute must haves: the Duffy roll, Neighborhood roll and Goofy roll. They have a very diverse selection and the fish always tastes fresh.
Sometimes there's glitches with the app or they forget an order but they're always quick to repair and course correct. I'm such a consistent customer the new orders would throw them off.
They've been in the community for years and the owner is very nice. I'll have to go inside to update the review on the ambiance. If the food is any hint, it's crisp, light and delightful.
My go-to spot for sushi and Thai food. Quality of food is always excellent. And the staff is super friendly. Very cool vibe in the dining area as well.

I’ve been ordering from Hado for the past 4 years. It was a sincere mistake. I am a vegetarian and I don’t eat meat or any seafood items. I normally get the Drunken Noodles but I wanted to try something different. When my food arrived, it had a pungent smell to it and I couldn’t take a single bite from it. I realized that it had fish sauce and I was allergic to it. I contacted the restaurant immediately and requested them if they can change my order because it was a sincere mistake and that it’ll go to waste. I even offered to pick it up, but the owner was adamant about it not being their mistake and constantly rejected me and said that they weren’t going to do that. They even said that I should re-order from UberEats but they wouldn’t offer to replace it
