Amazing food! Creativity & taste level is unpredictable, especially the double cut bone-in pork chop & crispy calamari frito Misti. My son loves the lava cake ice cream.

JTI's is thee BEST! I highly recommend this place! Nick and team helped us host a luncheon after my grandmothers funeral. They were incredibly easy to work with, extremely helpful, and always responsive. Their customer service is second to none and the food is consistently outstanding, exceeding my expectations every time.

The team at the JTI did an incredible job hosting our party in their upstairs catering room. Nick took amazing care of us, putting together a special menu that my entire family raved about how good it was. Plus, the bartender made such good cocktails all day. When we showed up for the party, the room was already perfectly setup and looked beautiful and very clean. I cannot say enough nice things about the service and execution of hosting our party. The waitstaff was so friendly and made sure everyone was comfortable.Overall, I highly recommend having your next event at the JTI American Kitchen and Bar!

Last night, a rainy Saturday, two buddies and I went to JTI's for the first time in about 15 years to do some catching up. Without getting into too much detail, everything was disappointing. The service was on the slow side, the soup was cold, the antipasto was bland (served with cold, stale "toasted" bread), the burgers/steak were all overcooked (ordered rare, received well-done), one entree was wrong, the "sides" of coleslaw were about half a shot glass. Again, just disappointing. I'd like to say two stars, but I'm giving it three in the hopes it was an "off" night for them.

If you haven’t been to JTI’s American Kitchen & Bar in Brightwaters, you need to go. I’ve been there for dinner and it was great. This past Saturday, 3/2/24, I hosted my daughter’s baby shower there. I wanted something different than your usual shower food (chicken, steak or pasta choices, etc). The menu Chef Nick put together was amazing and the service was over the top! Thank you Chef Nick, Nicole, Stephanie and David! We had a cocktail hour with a cold display and several passed hot items including a French onion soup shot which was my favorite. My guests were shocked when we moved from the cocktail area to the dining room and then they were served a tasting menu of 3 courses of 3 different items. All delicious! The venue itself is so comfortable and charming. I also want to point out how clean the restaurant and bathrooms were.Truly if you haven’t been to JTI’s, you’re missing out!

Stopped into JTI's American Kitchen and Bar on a date last week. I can honestly say that I was blown away. The service, food and craft cocktails were incredible. They have a great atmosphere all around with a pleasant staff to match. If you're looking to have a date night, or take the family out... this is the place. They have great sharable plates and plenty of different dishes/drinks to keep just about anyone happy. Highly recommended.

Wow.We ate here last night and were blown away. This is probably the best new restaurant we've found on long Island in more than a year. The menu was interesting and offered original takes on great American dishes. The service was perfect and our server couldn't have done any better. We arrived at 6pm on a Friday and after letting them know we had a reservation, we were seated in the back room which was lovely and quiet, a nice feature since the restaurant filled up by 7pm.The attention to detail in their service and decor carries over to the plating as well. Our food was presented smartly and interestingly and not just piled. If we had to pick one thing that was a mistake, it would be that we couldn't make up our minds on the menu and each ordered an appetizer and entree. Considering the portion sizes, we're not planning to eat again until we dig into the leftovers for dinner tonight.

We went here for my birthday. Wanted to try this place it's the 4 restaurant and they are going back to the old John Thomas Inn. They had live music and a lot of tables. But you're comfortable and not squished. They now have a large table they call the chefs table. We were in the back so the music wasn't to loud and we could hole a conversation. They give you water w a dropper of lime juice. Cool idea but you need a lot to flavor the water a little tinny tasting. I had the French onion w beef. Came piled high w friend onion strips lots of cheese and flavorful broth. They brought back the scissors for cutting the stringy good cheese. My son had the Mac n Cheese. It came in a small wheelbarrow and a shovel and rake all small sized but a huge portion. It was easy to tip over but flavor was on point and cheesy pull. Enjoyable. I had a wagyu beef burger w onion jam bacon a flavorful pickle but cheese was melted and could tell its taste it was a big burger w a bigger bun. I took the bun off because it was a lot of bread. My son had the French dip. It was opened face and a bit deconstructed but it had lots of good flavor and pully stringy cheese. It was also piled high with fried onion strips. His bread was toasted kinda like a crouton and that was good. We were too full for dessert.

I've been here 3x's now and I absolutely love the calamari- it comes with Brussel sprouts & so delicious. Tonight I ordered the meatballs- perfection & waiting on my salad. I love the lime juice they bring to flavor the water also- such a great touch! 5 stars
