We're not from around this area (or country), but on our way back from a hike, we stopped over at this winery. The views are spectacular of the lake and the wines (especially the Riesling), is delicious! Reccomend 110% if you have some time.

This was one of our normal stops over the past 15 years. On this trip, our group of 8 was told they could not accommodate us, not even if we split up into smaller groups. Not sure how you cannot deal with breaks us up. Scratched them off the normal stops and will tell our Grapehounds friends about this poor reception. The response regarding seating is not acceptable. The place had very few people in there. Would you have turned away 4 couples coming in separately? I highly doubt it. As a small business owner, I give a LOT Of leeway. But, 20 years in the Finger Lakes, we never had that reception. Owner response not accepted.

Great wine & cheese pairings along with spectacular views!

1 star because of view..Rude staff and refused service because there was 6 of us. Mind you the place was empty and staff said it was about the room they needed to fit us?? Thinking was prejudicial..

Absolutely wonderful! The staff is always so friendly and helpful. The best view of the lake!

Wonderful wine tasting experience on a snowy December day. The staff was so welcoming and helpful with offering local recommendations. Greg was knowledgeable, friendly and patient to talk two novice wine drinkers through their tasting experience. Would highly recommend and will be back when in the Finger Lakes again.

Our first visit to Atwater Vineyards last Wednesday. Great wines. Gregg (TJ 2.0 ?) was great. We all had a lot of laughs and will certainly return in May 2024

We stopped here to just grab a glass of wine, we didn’t do their tasting. As others have mentioned, the view alone is worth it. Even though it was chilly, we enjoyed sitting in their back patio and admiring the view. Their Symvoli was our favorite. The service was attentive and their staff were pleasant.

Awesome experience at Atwater! The staff were superb and really made the experience even better. I didn't catch his name but the bald man who was running our wine tasting was knowledgable and personable. Glad they had some snacks available, too.

The views from the winery are amazing. The wine selections are mostly dry wines but I found a bubbly resiling that I enjoyed and my hubby found several reds that he liked. Our wine guide was very knowledgeable and friendly.

The view here was absolutely breathtaking! Excellent view of Seneca Lake! Loved the back patio, could have sat here all day just for the view alone. Good selection of dry wines. The only reason I removed 1 star is because we prefer sweet wines over dry wines, I wish they had a better selection of sweet wines.

We really enjoyed this winery! It has a gorgeous panoramic view of Lake Seneca with plenty of places to sit. We sat in the lower bar area and the view was spectacular! The Cab Franc was our favorite and we ended up buying a case! The staff was great and we felt very welcomed! I highly recommend them!

Went in for a tasting and I was not disappointed. Expect to spend around an hour here for a well thought out and learning experience. The staff are SO friendly and informative. They answer any questions and are determined to provide more information than you ever thought you needed. I really enjoyed being able to sit back and look at the beautiful view while learning so much about wine. They serve more dry wines than sweet, so sweet drinkers be warned! Beautiful place meant to serve as an experience and NOT just a 15 minute stop along the wineries.

The view was wonderful, the wines are good but generally drier than what I like. They have both outside and inside tastings/serving areas. We chose the outside which was unseasonably cool that day, but the view made up for it. Everyone was very nice. Depending on your wine preferences, this could be a good choice for you.
