We visited for the first time last week and had a great time. The beers were good, food was tasty and large portions. An added bonus was a good band and a better view. We will be back again. Worth the stop.

Stopped here on the way back north from Watkins Glen. Amazing facility, with lots to do. Beer is wonderful, I had the red ale and bought some to bring home. And the food, wow! My party sampled the pizza, Mac and cheese, brisket tots, brisket sandwich, and salad. All were outstanding, I ate way too much and went into a food coma for the rest of my ride. Approved, can't wait to visit again. Five stars.

Wife and I stayed here in July 2025 and loved it. Great views from the room and porch, the staff of the lodge and brewery were very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed the food, live music, and atmosphere of the brewery/restaurant. Will definitely look to visit again!

This was a pretty nice stop. We visited 2 times while in the area. Had a bunch of flights, I think I got a taste of all of them. The warbler flavors were all pretty tasty. The food was pretty decent. The seating was really nice, your choice of inside, inside open area ., outside or the outside pavilion. Staff was great. They have a cool chalk wall that you can write on and they erase and start fresh the next day. I would visit again if in the area.

Hung here for a night while visiting for the weekend. This was my favorite spot that we went to. Live music was GREAT (City Limits), plenty of tables (shaded and sunny) and the view was so pretty. It was busy and we were still able to get food and drinks easily. There was a big, free parking lot too. We can’t wait to come back! Bonus: it is family/kid/dog friendly.

Beautiful views of the lake and hills. Big parking lot, indoor and outdoor seating. No table service available... The beer was good and the mushroom garlic pizza was pretty tasty.

Live music and a fantastic sunset view make this an unforgettable spot. I envy those who can frequent Grist Iron. It's a unique property with a brewery & grill, vacation lodge, frog pond, and gift shop. The selection of drinks is impressive. They offer a selection of flavored syrups you can get added into any brew or their alcoholic seltzer. The food service is a little slow but makes up for it in the quality of the menu.
