My husband and I loved it here! We arrived in the fingerlakes around 8:00 pm after a long drive, and Hector Hideaway was one of the only places we could find that was open a little later and selling food. We sat at the upstairs bar and had the best time. Drinks were great and food was even better. My husband said the Buffalo chicken Alfredo was one of the best dishes he’s ever eaten. The staff is incredible and we had so much fun talking with them. Would go back in a heart beat...

Food, service, and views are all spectacular. Dining after sunset and watching the area get dark was a much different view of lake Seneca than I have had elsewhere (most places close earlier).
We enjoyed a chicken french grilled cheese and an order of scampi. Both were served hot and were excellently prepared.
We will be back for an earlier meal to watch the sunset

Food was great, service was great and views were out of this world. Music on the balcony was an added bonus. We had the pretzel, potato skins, Cesar salad, cod and eggplant sandwich. So delicious. Our waitress was friendly and informative and also provided some history on the establishment.
