Mother’s Day breakfast was delicious! Generous portions, quick service, yummy food and reasonable prices. Highly recommend!
ordered a fish dinner for my parents last night and they said it so great..my grandson and I had Mac and cheese with pulled pork. Definitely recommend. and we will definitely be ordering again..
People that read this please be honest with this place. I really like this place and can see a huge future if they tweak some things. We were 1st timers at this restaurant and plan to give it a 2nd look. We felt very welcomed right as we walked in. Nothing was terrible, everything we ate had its good and bad. The pulled pork is the best I have had in a very long time. I like the fact that I could taste the meat more then the sauce<-- zero complaints and I am not a pulled pork guy and I loved it. With the good comes the not so good. Salad bar was small but descent. Bow ties pasta were dry and very bland. Dressings should be kept cooler. I suggest, Offer a vinaigrette for those of us that are not fans of the creamy dressing. The wings, I am afraid to say those were not chicken wings they were pigeon wings that were water filled for weight before cooking by the supplier, as they cook the water evaporates and the wings turn dry, get another supplier. For the price your supplier should be doing better then that 1 out of 5 on those wings that day. I am sorry they were also over cooked. The burger was average, bland like they were cooking it for a home for the elderly, again dry. The ribs had good flavor but again over cooked. A lot of rock hard spots in the meat. With just some small tweaks and timing the ribs too could be perfect and melt in your mouth. I would be happy to explain it to you in person. Only complaint about desert my guess the pie was out of the box and very small however it was tasty. It could have been an off day IDK. Overall, in all fairness we will be back. Please understand that I am only being honest and not trying to be hurtful. I am not a yelp-er just a caring consumer that really would love to see your business kick a**! Most won't say a word they just don't come back. That isn't what you want. I read some of your 5 star ratings so it may have just been an off day? Don't say sorry you have nothing to be sorry about. I ate at many places in my life and you were more towards the middle of the road in my opinion. You could be better and there is a whole lot worse out there.

The staff was tremendous: kind and attentive from the moment we walked in the door until we left. The food was delicious and timely; and did not disappoint. Don't miss out on the Brussel sprout appetizer.
With this restaurant being the only option in a small town near us, I wish I could give it a glowing review. We tried it shortly after it opened (not good) and thought we would give it another try with their new menu. Both of us ordered the soup of the day which was lukewarm when served. I ate it as quickly as possible so as get it down before it got any worse. The side salad was OK but since there were crotons in the salad bar but not on my salad, I asked for permission to add some. We both ordered the fish. My wife's portion was as you would expect- one or two pieces of fish. Mine was 12-15 pieces with some being only breading. As with the soup, the fish was not hot. Since we were the only people in the restaurant, it is a mystery as to how the food was not served hot.

Stopped in here after getting a delicious dose of caffeine from the wonderful Overlook Coffee. The unassuming facade of the building (complete with pay phone booth) didn't prepare me for the fresh look of the modern farmhouse interior. The juxtaposition left me saying "wow!". We were quickly seated and, while everything on the menu looked fantastic, as a Rochester native I couldn't help but land on the Breakfast Garbage Plate. The portion was massive with a bed of perfectly fried potatoes with eggs, cheese, bacon, sausage and a split open buttermilk biscuit layered on top. The meal was to be smothered in sausage gravy and hollandaise of which I asked for the hollandaise to be on the side as I always find it hit or miss when eating out. Both came on the side, which was perfect as I was able to use as much of the gravy as I'd like. The hollandaise was good, but I didn't feel like the dish needed it, so I left it off. Everything on the plate was perfect. Top 5 breakfast dishes I've ever had.
