This should be announced at least on the internet if you aren’t holding to advertised hours.

I had a very nice time today at this restaurant. The staff are all very friendly and kind, the food was really good (I had maybe the best turkey sandwich of my life), and the views of the lake are so beautiful. I wish I didn't live so far away but I will still make the drive again to visit! Loved it!

Do Not Eat Here! While visiting my family we decided to give this little place a try. While waiting to place our order I noticed a bunch of rat droppings all over the place. I couldn't believe my eyes, they definitely have a rat problem. I saw a few dead roaches in the corners too. I could just imagine what goes on in the back where we can't see. After pointing it out to my family and them confirming it was indeed rat poop and roaches, we decided to go somewhere else. If you do decide to go here, look around first!

Wonderful little food joint tucked out of the way. The menu was incredible and the staff was super friendly. It was a little stuffy inside with the windows closed. We chose to sit outside and we're not disappointed with the amazing views of the lake. Prices were quite friendly and the food was delicious. I really liked that they offer half sized appetizers. Something that more restaurants should do. Great selections of beverages, soft drinks as well as alcoholic options. Lots of different beers, wines and mixed drinks. I highly recommend the elf in the oak for anyone looking for a great spot for a delicious meal.
This place has a quaint, homey feeling and was recommend to me by a friend. I had the waffle breakfast sandwich and my husband had the biscuit and gravy. We both loved what we got. Make sure you order the cinnamon rolls, they are outstanding!!
