If I Could Give a Perfect 10 Stars, I Absolutely Would!
Where do I even begin? Red Rooster in Cairo, New York isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a football food fantasyland. I stopped in for Sunday football, and from the moment I walked through the door, we were graciously welcomed. Of course, I had my loyal service dog Amalfi with me, and not only was he treated like part of the team—they even brought him a children’s burger! That gesture alone says everything about the warmth and hospitality of this place. Amalfi is now officially a Red Rooster fan for life.
The sports bar is spotless, bright, and genuinely welcoming. It has that perfect hometown feel where the moment you sit down, you know you’re in for a great time.
Now, let’s talk about the mocktail menu, because it deserves its own round of applause. I started with the strawberry margarita mocktail—fresh, fruity, and so delicious that one simply wasn’t enough. Yes, I ordered two. Then I had to try the spicy mango pineapple margarita, which was the perfect mix of sweet and heat—a fiery glass of tropical heaven.
And then came the food fantasy. The mozzarella triangles were perfection—crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside, with cheese that stretches a solid three feet and a basil marinara that tastes homemade. The portion size is generous—technically sharable, but let’s be honest, you won’t want to share. The buffalo chicken egg rolls brought the perfect kick of spice with creamy, cheesy deliciousness in every bite. The Philly cheesesteak quesadillas were packed with tender beef, onions, and peppers, and came with golden crispy fries that were just as memorable as the entrée. I also tried the Angus cheeseburger, which was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, served with lettuce, tomato, and their famous burger sauce. I swear I’d buy that sauce by the gallon if I could.
Despite being completely full, I saved room for dessert—and I’m glad I did. The raspberry cheesecake was creamy, dreamy, and topped with fresh raspberries. It was the perfect sweet ending to a meal that didn’t miss a single note.
A huge thank you to Cheyenne, our incredible server, who went above and beyond. She had a constant smile, knew the menu inside and out, and answered every single one of my (many) questions with patience and charm.
Whether you’re there to catch Sunday football, enjoy a casual dinner, close a business deal, or just treat yourself to outstanding food and friendly service, Red Rooster Cairo is the spot. They nailed every single detail.

TLDR: I enjoyed this place even though we got our food to go. Will go again if/when we come back to the area.
Came here after doing a random Google search and it was this or pizza and we didn't want pizza.
After forgetting how dark the country is and worried that the place wasn't open (Google has betrayed us before) because we couldn't see the lights until we were right on it; we were relieved to find it open and the staff welcoming.
Immediately I was greeted as I walked in the door by Maddy, who also ended up taking my order. She was great and super friendly.
I ended up chatting with (I'm assuming) the owner/manager while our food was being made, Taran (spelling?) and she was great! Of we had been able to come inside with our pups, I would have loved to sit at the bar and have a few drinks while eating.
We got two wraps buffalo chicken and chicken bacon ranch. We ended up not being able to eat them for another 45 min-1 hour after ordering and they were still delicious and HOT! It was just what we wanted! I forgot to take pics, but here's our puppies instead!
