Food was delicious, but I have a problem with restaurants that don’t serve bread.

We loved this place!! First time in the area and decided to check out The Conover Club. My wife and I sat at the bar and were greeted almost immediately by Ange, the bartender. She was knowledgeable about the menu and the cocktails. She asked what kind of liquor I prefere then she made a suggestion for a grapefruit, honey and bourbon cocktail. It was absolutely beautifully made and tasted great! We ordered a caprese salad and although a little different than a traditional caprese it was delicious. Another server Caylee came and brought our food out she was very funny and had some friendly banter. I ordered the duck pasta and it was very well made. The pasta tased fresh! All in all an amazing meal and experience.

I stayed a night on the property and we tried the restaurant. The food was good, had the hanger steak and few drinks. They were training a server. Only 1 other table sat with a 2 top and our 4 top. Had to flag down to order and get drinks. Overall enjoyable meal.

Loved it here so much! Our waitress Kailee made the experience so fun and memorable. We went on a Monday at 4pm and stayed for 3 hours. 4-6pm were appetizers and drinks 50% off!!! The portions were huge too!! 5pm was when the dinner menu was available. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. We felt so fancy because it was like fine dining except it was reasonably priced and huge portions of food. My friends and I were in shock at how good everything was. We were stuffed because we took advantage of the appetizers deal and ordered more than we thought lol. Definitely will be coming back again soon!

Do not be fooled by the beautiful atmosphere of this resort. Like my mom used to say, “Mink on the outside, stink on the inside.” My boyfriend and I went away for a quiet getaway this weekend and discovered this resort when we were already booked someplace else. We planned to book our next getaway here but wanted to test out the food and the service here first. Oy!! We stopped here at the restaurant for breakfast on our way home back to the city, expecting a quick, laidback nice breakfast. Instead, we waited over 30 minutes for 2 bagels with bacon, egg & cheese. Instead of offering us any type of discount or remorse the staff made one excuse after another, saying it was a holiday weekend, 2 people called out, etc, etc, etc… The nauseatingly obnoxious attitude of the staff literally made me lose my appetite and after waiting over a half hour for our food, we walked out without ever receiving any food, something my boyfriend and I absolutely hate doing. You could also clearly see everyone in the restaurant was also waiting an exorbitant amount of time and was very frustrated as well.

The food and service were excellent and the restaurant itself was very cozy and inviting. The duck drummettes and spinach artichoke dip were great size appetizers with a ton of flavor. I got the pork chop dinner and my wife got the gnocchi and both were very flavorful and filling. 10/10 would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

For our detox and refresh couples weekend, we found the perfect dining experience here. This charming restaurant, nestled on the ground floor of the inn, offers a delightful deck and picturesque grounds. We were very impressed by the strong commitment to local ingredients on the menu, complemented by some fantastic drinks. This is the kind of place I'd frequent if I were a local! The staff were exceptionally attentive and highly knowledgeable. While I personally found the food a little salty, it was incredibly delicious and featured wonderful pairings. We absolutely plan to return.

Housed in a beautiful hotel with amazing trees surrounding it. Phenomenal food and inventive menu. If I had to knock them on anything I would say the top 40 rock and pop music playing kind of cheapens the experience, but I guess some people like that.

One of my favorite places to visit when I'm in this area of the Catskill.

Have gone several times and had the best experience / chicken katsu sandwich ever! Getting better in quality with time.

Pretty rough experience here... Came for the harvest buffet, and the food was oversalted and inconsistent. The service was fantastic, and I really appreciate the wait staff which was kind and attentive, and the atmosphere is excellent, with a really great, warm, relaxing rustic vibe. But would not return for the food. Bottled cocktail was okay, though.

Kid-friendliness: Totally accommodating for children.

Our visit to the Conover Club was outstanding in every way. Amy and Courtney took incredible care of us and recommended the seasonal Maple Martini, which was phenomenal! Kayleigh was our server and kept us giggling through our dinner, but took such good care of us as well! I can’t recommend Conover Club and a stay at Calicoon Hills enough! My gals and I will be back!

We used to frequent regularly on and off season. It’s turned into a wedding factory, everything catered for that crowd. We once enjoyed coming as a family, with friends, either cozying up in the dining room (which they changed) or eating outside in the deck (the menus they gutted). The bar would be crowded and the atmosphere alive. They’ve cut out so much of the good vibe, menu, the experience, the local feel, etc. The drinks are smaller, the ice is cheaper, the vibe more entitled, the menu more basic, bland and more expensive.
Just returned from a meal there this evening, food fine, menu depleted, ambience gone. Just another place for wedding goers and IGers to spend $250 on a basic meal. Sad where it’s gone. The wait staff was kind and attentive- that team deserves credit. Ownership lost what they had. Way more and better local options now. This is not a representation of the Catskills anymore- just curated that way…..bummer.
