Went on a holiday weekend. Wait time for food and drinks was excessive but server was pleasant and knowledgeable of the menu, and food was enjoyable.

One of the nicest eateries in this area. I've been here about 10 times in the past 5 years, but the food has gotten noticeably better in the past half year. In warm weather there is a really nice outdoor deck. The service is good and pleasant and so is the atmosphere. Parking is limited but I've never had a problem. It's in a hotel, so the guests there must have alternate parking arrangements. The prices are above average for this area, but not exorbitant.

A bit disappointed on our last visit. We were sad to see the cozy dining room with the fireplace is no longer in use for dinner. Totally changed the vibe of the place and the room was on the chilly side. Food was just ok, not as stellar as last visit. Service was exceptional, property is beautiful. Not rushing to go back for the food.

Yummy brunch option in the area. Chill vibes and great food. The staff is always kind and very helpful!Highly recommend their drink options if you are staying at Callicoon Hills for the night (can’t go wrong with a hot toddy if it’s on the menu) and their bagel sandwich and sausage for brunch.

Venue should consider closing to the public if they have a special event on the premise.

Best Burger I've had in a LONG time! A huge kudos for the Hills Burger! A must try if you're looking for an amazing Burger which honestly made me get right on here and write this review. Of course after my plate was totally clean lol The Staff is wonderful as is the ambiance. The place in general is pretty freakin cool.

Some friends and I were looking for a nice meal and really enjoyed ours here. Cute little place on the ground floor of the inn. There is a nice deck and the overall grounds are beautiful. A strong emphasis on local ingredients in the menu as well as some great drinks. If I was local I would be a regular.

Overall, this is a very nice place to stay. There are a few things that could be improved. The staff is great. They clearly work hard to give the guests an enjoyable experience. The grounds are beautiful, the staff fantastic, but our room was abysmally too small including a microscopically sized bathroom. For two people there was no storage so we had to live out of our luggage. It would have been adequate for one, but definitely not two people and that was a big disappointment. Beyond that, the water was not hot enough in the shower all the time. And the gym needs some attention. Both Peloton bikes were not working, there were no towels and no water. But again, the grounds were great and the staff was terrific and it was great having a decent restaurant right downstairs. The fire pits are a great touch. The pool is a great luxury. It was, indeed, a good place to mingle and get to know other travelers and for us, that was very important.

Callicoon Hills is a wonderful hidden gem deep in the Catskills. An updated MCM resort that has the beautiful influencer aesthetic without the pretentiousness or arrogance of other locations in the Hudson Valley. Every one that I have ever encountered at CH has been warm and inviting, which is a reason in it if itself to be a repeat visitor. In the last year, the grounds at CH have expanded immensely to include 2 saunas, a small upscale gym (Peloton bikes) with a beautiful yoga deck overlooking the hills, new A-Frames, and expanded offerings for the Conover Club/Rise and Shine cafe. I stumbled across CH last year when looking for a place for my friend and I to stay as we attended a concert at Bethel Woods, and it was the best surprise. As a guest at CH, you have access to the entirety of the grounds, which is great if you arrive earlier than your check-in. During summer months, you can plan ahead and hang by the pool before receiving your room. We loved it so much that we decided to make Callicoon Hills an annual get-together and just returned from our second stay. We were lucky enough to be some of the first visitors in the A-Frames which provided such a special experience. The bathhouse boasted individual rooms with rain showers, toilets, and sinks- My husband and I will be returning this fall with our dogs (yes, socialized well-behaved dogs are welcome!!) and I cannot wait.
